Congrats to Paul and George Mason Univ. Hopefully, Siena and the A-10 will announce our joining the conference shortly as well.

I say we announce A10 by end of week and coach by start of Final 4 If they are going A10 coach will know. No reason for the dramatic combo.

It's going to happen. Whether they wanna payout the million this year, or wait (which I think they'll do) next year, when they'd owe the MAAC half that.
I'm just hoping the A-10 talk brings in a coach we'd probably never get staying in the MAAC
Sooner, the better.....open up the wallet!

If Siena to the A10 is as certain as some say then why wouldn't the A10 include all schools in the same announcement?

If Siena to the A10 is as certain as some say then why wouldn't the A10 include all schools in the same announcement? Maybe because contracts have to be signed? It's not a simple process, really. They have procedures they have to follow.

They have procedures they have to follow. section2 Those same contracts that you describe in your above post as not being a simple process have been prepared and readied for execution for George Mason's entry to the A10. Are you suggesting that there are additional contracts for Siena? Are you suggesting that Siena has such leverage that it is cutting a better deal than George Mason? Note that the C7 did not announce Xavier separate from Butler separate from Creighton. I hope and pray that Siena gets into the A10 but I am less confident with the announcement of George Mason only.

I'm still optimistic. Mason is obviously coming from a different conference so the I's and T's are different. Given the amount of talk surrounding Siena/A10 I have to believe there is something there.
