Glensfalls, everyone here knows you have no basketball knowledge and live to spread shit, so responding to you is pointless, although saintsfan did a good job. How the Catholic 7 made there announcement has no bearing on how the A-10 chooses to do it. I never "suggested" anything about different terms or more leverage. They are different schools, obviously they each have their own contracts to sign.

Didn't the A10 release a presser saying they weren't doing anything until are their teams were finished in the post-season?

If approached expect chain of events would be D'Argenio making an assessment, obtaining Fr Kevin's concurrence who would then bring to Bd of Trustees for final approval ... Not going to happen this week

If this is all true we have a bunch of people "in the know" that are not.

If this is all true, Siena is wasting valuable time in the coaching search.

1. You wonder ..the reported baltimore trip - could Siena have been meeting with the A10 ? The A10 Admin offices are located in Va 2. Today is about George Mason and A10. Lets see what happens in the next couple weeks

I'll be really bummed if we're stuck in a crappy MAAC. Don't even get me started on how depressed I'll be if UA jumps to the CAA before we go A10. Oy!

If I am not mistaken, the addition of Quinnipiac and Monmouth to the MAAC were announced on different days.

CAA was as bad as the America East in basketball this year before the defections of George Mason and Old Dominion. It is not going to be a good basketball league anymore but Albany would be smart to join them for all sports. If the MAAC hadn't rushed to grab Quinnipiac and Monmouth they would be poised to grab Drexel, Northeastern, and Hofstra when the CAA went to all football schools.

It's very apparent that these two crucial decisions; coach and conference will speak volumes as to which direction the admin is taking the program.
