It's very apparent that these two crucial decisions; coach and conference will speak volumes as to which direction the admin is taking the program. And we should all be holding off on renewing/purchasing season tickets until we find out how this all works out!!!!

1. You wonder.. the reported baltimore trip - could Siena have been meeting with the A10 ? The A10 Admin offices are located in Va 2. Today is about George Mason and A10. Lets see what happens in the next couple weeks Good points. Also, I wouldn't expect the A10 to make both announcements on the same day. If I am not mistaken, the addition of Quinnipiac and Monmouth to the MAAC were announced on different days. Lets hope thats what it is..and nothing else

I look at it as George Mason is to the A10, as Xavier, butler, and Creighton are to the BigEast. In turn Siena is like St Louis and Dayton. The A10 probably thinks highly of Siena but want to wait a little while to make sure they need to add them.
In the end I think the A10 and siena will be a great fit.

GMU is paying $1 mil exit fee and forfeiting $1.65 mil in conference payouts ... University president says move will pay for itself in as little as five years.

I think in the end Siena fans will be very very happy-- keep the faith I think you are right Tony. It will work itself out for Siena. I believe that to be the case. I think the A-10 is still dealing with the entire issue of when other schools are going to leave and which ones are most likley to go.

One correction, I am not a La Salle fan but interact quite a bit with all the Philly and NJ schools in what I do in my job. I have realtionships with all the programs but don't prefer any one over another. All of them have great people I enjoy working with.

This has to happen, with GMU joining the A10 it would make 13 schools and an imbalanced league. Siena or someone else will be made public soon.
