You can have the Iceman if you have enough other contributors. You can take a chance on Durugordon if you have enough other contributors. I didn't realize SD was getting NIL money ... for not even playing. Great gig if you can get it. Siena's NIL isn't big enough to be blowing money on non-players. TO as well. Why is the kid tying up a 'ship? It makes no sense to me. We're 1 game in (thankfully a W) and we ended the game with 2 injured players. I like Carm but this is the kinda stuff that wears on the fans.

Because Carm needs room for a difference maker……. But with Carm’s reputation for having open ships that need will never arise. If I recall, the intent behind bringing in Tekin, Birgisson, and Gribben was that they wouldn't be impact freshmen but that they would stick around, not tie up NIL money, develop into at least role players as they aged up, and provide some continuity instead of bringing in 12 new guys every year. So I think Carm has no problem keeping Birgisson around even if he doesn't look like he will be a major contributor this year. Awesome

Not trying to start any speculation, but what's up with Riley Mulvey at Iowa? He did not play in a blowout of North Dakota. I know we need guards, but could he be helpful too?

Watched Oklahoma beat #23 USC today to win the tourney they were in. Javion was the top scorer with 18 and was the best player on the floor today. He also won MVP of the tournament. So much for him not being able to compete with the big guys.

It is making it through a rugged power 5 conference season with his size.

Mulvey in his 3rd or 4th year at Iowa is redshirting this year. i saw him on the bench in street clothes yesterday. Iowa has two freshmen big men and a transfer that will play over him.

I guess he can wait until May, but he should have picked a new school last summer.

Fran announced this week that he is redshirting this year. So he can sit behind the two big freshman, who will be sophomores next year? He made a mistake. Thats if actually playing means anything to him. If hes okay with never seeing the floor, Iowa is his spot. I wish him the best of luck

Unless he went into the year assuming he was going to play and found out to late he was going to ride the bench. Fran does him the favor of putting the RS on him to get him an extra year of eligibility when he does transfer outs. But again could be content and happy being in that role. I went to an ACC school and being in that environment is fun with college football and a competitive basketball team.

Fran announced this week that he is redshirting this year. Probably so he saves a year of eligibility with a transfer request to follow at some point.

Kenpom has Amarri Tice as a top 5 all MAAC player based on their statistical factors. Too bad it was determined that he would not have helped this year's Siena team. It is true he is certainly no Iceman, but with two empty scholarships he wouldn't have filled that slot.

Fire that guy into the sun.
