I was happy for him that he got the 2nd/3rd most minutes on a new team. That would indicate he's going to start. Id feel bad for him if he had to come off the bench after transferring. He's playing in a better league (IMO) and a lot closer to home. Wish him the best.

Anyone know why UAlbany guard Tyler Bertram (Cooperstown) is allowed to play for his 4th team, but we cant get SD in?
BTW, he's EXACTLY what we could have used as a 6th man. Scoring combo guard with a ton of experience.

Scoring combo guard with a ton of experience. Goes to Charlotte, transfers to Binghamton. Everyone got to play in 2020-21 season because of COVID, so he’s cleared right away. Two years at Binghamton. Leaves Binghamton, uses one-time transfer at UAB. Graduates UAB, gets to use grad transfer option. He’s Sloan Seymour but shorter. We’ve never had interest. He can only shoot, doesn’t do anything else, and has never shot over 40% from the field in a season.

He had 5 rebounds in his first game at UA. Thats more than Sloan had in a year. He'd be a really nice 3rd guard off the bench that could shoot us back into a game. BTW, I see Tice and Rumpel are starting for Quinny and Manhattan. City Rocks rule!

And two local kids we didn’t want start for Fairfield and both were in double figures against an ACC school He'd be a really nice 3rd guard off the bench that could shoot us back into a game. Most importantly in a big win at Bryant for a team many picked last in MAAC. How'd Tice do? lol

The NCAA is absolutely a bunch of rotten people. I hope Sean will give us two years rather than play one and grad transfer since Siena took care of him with NIL and made a strong case. I know they’ll appeal but it won’t go anywheres. Carm took a gamble. We better stay healthy and the frosh have to produce.

Evbagharu was out Monday, not sure if he will be back this weekend. I’d be shocked if Eley is back within the next week/10 days. And we are only 1 week into the season. Anyone know if TO is in school and had a miraculous recovery 😳? It wasn’t a gamble Carm took, it was stupidity.

When Elijah transferred from Notre Dame, he did so at the end of the first semester. He could not play right away as a grad transfer because of another NCAA rule that prohibited playing for two schools in the same academic year. Maybe goldsaint17 knows whether that rule is still on the books.

I wish we'd stop getting kids that need waivers and can't play. I'm sure Sean is a great kid on top of being a good player but we get bit more than not. How many kids do we have on scholarship who aren't playing? Considering our recent budget woes, paying for 2 years and getting 1 (or paying for 3+ and getting 0) seems like a bad idea. Are many schools doing this? If a kid gets hurt after you recruit them or whatever, that's one thing. We seem to pick up a greater than average number of kids who need to sit for whatever reason. It could just be my misperception.
