Are you kidding me- no expectations there—job is gravy. You can go 12-18 every year and make a million bucks a year- get one NCAA bid and they will name an arena after you perhaps.........likely they stay in the league only for football anyway!!!!!!!!!!

Northwestern is the only BCS school that has never made the NCAA tourney. Carmody lasted 13 years. Collins can retire from there if he makes it once.

Apparently Paulsen has a good shot at Northwestern. Their president was his boss at Williams. Collins gets announced today at Northwestern. Gives us a better shot at Paulsen. d Paulsen made less than Mitch...............should be very much in play for this job!!!!!!!!!!!

Chance Paulsen wants to stay at Bucknell.. have another big year and maybe he lands the million dollar paycheck from some BCS school Bucknell is losing a lot. The chances of them winning the Patriot next year are slim.

Paulsen has won 25-25 and 28 games the last 3 years. Mike Muscala is a big loss but Paulsen has it cooking there, wouldn’t surprise me a bit to see him 20+ games again next year. Unless he is really under wraps we haven’t heard his name mentioned at all

Muscala is probably their only player most people can name.

Yes that's true--all I'm saying we are not hearing his name.. so like I said two posts ago he might not be interested in Siena job and wants to stay at Bucknell--or its possible he way under cover .. but I haven't heard a sniff on him - have you?

Actually, as I said in another thread, I've heard he wants out of the Patriot and reached out to Marist. I honestly think we haven't heard a lot because he's not as coveted as some here think.

That hardly means he couldnt/wouldn't sign with Siena unless there is also a big buyout. Not trying to insinuate that he is going to be our coach just that it is premature to say he is out of the running because he signed an extension.

He isn't out of the running because he signed an extension. He's out of the running because the finalists are now being brought on campus for the 2nd interview - and Paulsen never had a 1st. Siena's next coach will be one of the following four finalists: Toole, Pitino, Patsos, or Rhoades. If Siena stays true to form, the new coach will be announced prior to when the final four starts on the 6th.
