Thanks GS. I was wondering that but didn’t know him personally. You mention one of two managers; are you referring to two managers who made the trip or two managers on Siena’s team? I thought there were 4 or 5 managers on the team/roster. I did think I noticed one other manager on the trip. Yes. Two managers made trip. There are more managers. Thanks again. Yeah I knew or have seen the other manager who’s between the strength coach and Billups in that group photo. I just didn’t recognize that other manager I noted earlier. I’ll have to pay more attention to the bench during the games. 🙂

Why would you want him back home rehabbing and with the Doctors that didn’t seem to do such a great job the first time around? If it’s me I want him to be around the team and with the Doctors/Trainers with the school, showing he is putting in the work and doing everything possible to recover. Lmao Stop. You know zero about his surgeries; ortho surgeons or extent of his knees (one or both). Sometimes kids have chronic issues, sometimes surgeries can’t ever restore the ability to play competitively. I doubt rehabilitating in Albany would have mattered. Looks like there’s more at play here. Going into the wayback machine, Owens reminds me of Art Tooles a Siena player from the John Griffin era. He seemed to have chronic knee problems and complications from surgery, but ended up a productive player. Let's hope Owens turns out the same.

I agree with you Bill. Art Tooles was a quality defender who always gave us 100%. If Owens is similar. He will be worth the wait. Tooles was a quality young man. Carm may see more then is on the surface. Let’s root for this young man in his efforts to over come injury

Hard to know yet if Tekin is good or not... but the speed and pace he plays with still pops in this game. He's not pudgy Georges.

Step up in competition really showing. Struggles most without rose colored lenses really showing. Can’t shoot, struggles one on one defending, jayce Johnson should not play much this year and no depth whatsoever.

Saints are in a competitive, dog fight of a game, down 1 heading into the 4th quarter. What a great experience for the team. Hoping they can lock in and pull out the W.

Ugly win but I'll take it. Kid from Turkey is decent. Baer had a nice game.

Nice win that was a competitive Italian club we played. Sloppy game too many missed FTs and TOs but still managed to score 69 points. Shooting was off. Keep Javian in glass. He’s the key to having a successful season with him running the team at the point. Elye will be a good one didn’t shoot well tonight but like his game. Good to see Platek getting comfortable. Billups should have a big year. Baer was solid and Gribbon looked like a serviceable back up to Stormo. He’s no star and I don’t want him at PG but Jace Johnson looked comfortable out there. He could be a useful players in the rotation. Hope they have a stream for the final game tomorrow was nice to watch some Siena hoops in August. Probably the toughest of the 3 Italian teams coming up on Saturday before we head back to the states. Chicken Parm dinner tonight boys!! 😉 Go Saints!!

I think Billups blocked one ... literally into the parking lot...the overhead door was open.
Saw most of the game. Billups and Stormo looked good.
Of the newcomers: Tekin looked good Eduardo Lane may be a solid contributor Gribben looked like a decent role player Eley looked solid
Billups was the best player for the game (IMO). Through in Javian and we'd look much better. Definitely a step up from last game.

Baer might have a professional career in Italy lined up.
