Seems like as good an outcome as we could have hoped for. Biggest questions in my mind are what's really up with Javian and what's wrong with Kellier? At this point I don't expect to ever see Owens in a game for Siena. 🤕 Javian is with the team in Italy had dental work done. No reason to push him. Jordan Kellier had a visa issue. Tai Owens still rehabbing his knee. Good balance and good to see the assists total be high.

I know that JM had "dental work" but it seemed odd that Carm said something like "when Javian gets healthy..." - that doesn’t sound like just wisdom teeth. Glad to hear Kellier is ok, bit sucks that he couldn't make the trip. And I do wonder why Owens can't do rehab with team and local trainers and PTs. Not trying to be negative, just wish there were not any questions, especially for JM and TO.

Given Owens reoccurring knee issues, distance from home, & his surgeons being in GA, if I’m his parent he isn’t rehabilitating in NY (especially when school is out) until I know he’s on the mend & over the hump. Now that school is starting I wonder if he’s back on campus or doing online work.

Why would you want him back home rehabbing and with the Doctors that didn’t seem to do such a great job the first time around? If it’s me I want him to be around the team and with the Doctors/Trainers with the school, showing he is putting in the work and doing everything possible to recover.

You know zero about his surgeries; ortho surgeons or extent of his knees (one or both). Sometimes kids have chronic issues, sometimes surgeries can’t ever restore the ability to play competitively. I doubt rehabilitating in Albany would have mattered. Looks like there’s more at play here.

Nice to see them finishing strong! Agreed! Hope we see some of those dunks and nifty assists when the real games begin. And Michael Eley looks like he could be a great addition to the team right away. Would like to see the stats on 3-PT shots too.

Nice to see them finishing strong! Speaking of finishing strong, watch that game clip a few times. I'm sure most of you watched it several times like I did to pick up a few of the new numbers. I'm very excited now about the recruiting that Carm and Company did this off season after seeing those highlights. Much has been said about our new freshman class, with a number of question marks. I think everyone will now agree that (3) Mike Eley has been a great pick-up for the Saints. Kid should be a star. There have been concerns by many about the recruitment of two of the other freshmen in the highlights. No.0 Tekin has taken a beating as to his abilities as an undersized guard. Killian Gribben's (20)recruitment has been debated. At 6'10 and only 210, his recruitment has been considered a possible waste by some. In reading about Gribben, he has been described as a big man that can run the floor and can shoot the 3. Tekin's skills as a PG has been questioned and his talent level is still unknown. After watching the highlight film, that shows Tekin (N0. 0) throwing a Harlem Globetrotter pass (behind his back) to Gribben (No. 20) on a fast-break, with Gribben flushing the ball like the hoop was only 8 feet tall, ......well let's just say that I'm feeling pretty good overall about our freshman class this year!! I know the jury is still out, but I think our new reconstructed coaching staff is working hard and doing a good job.

musicman...while I liked what I saw, keep in mind this was like playing a D3 team. They were totally outclassed. Tempered enthusiasm would be wise.
