you might be right HJ, but you do realize this is actually Sammy's 6th yr ..............most kids would be improved if they got that long to develop, just sayin'................ Do they put an asterik next to stat line every game? Who cares if he's in his 6th year, as long as he's eligible and has the ability to help his team. Id take him in a second, especially this year. IF he was here last year, the friction between Carm and Young (which clearly existed last year) could have been dealt with and there's avery good chance we'd have Youngs scholarship last May to get a good big to play next to Jackson. the problem was his motor............not always on, and that doesn't help, sometimes you even wondered whether Sammy was really interested in playing hoop or just going through the motions, probably the change of scenery was the best for him, and it took any expectation stress away as well.......... |

Came across an old recruit we were in the final 2 for a few years ago. Justin Webster, a guard from Texas. Ended up picking Hawaii over Loudonville (moron), and now he's a reserve guard for UNLV.

Don't know if he got injured or what but Sammy had 8 points and 4 rebounds in only 19 minutes in a loss to U Albany yesterday.
