Jordan King starts for ETSU. They’re playing on ESPN+ against Ionas first opponent, Appalachian St.
Jordan played 26 minutes. Played a very good floor game, but didnt shoot too well (1-8, 0-5).

Don Carey starting again for Georgetown this year. Opening night for the Hoyas vs Dartmouth and old Siena recruit Brendan Barry, who came back for a 5th year after spending last season at Temple.
Don was G'Towns best player today in a 69-60 loss to Dartmouth. He had 14-7-3

Jalen looked pretty ordinary throughout the entire game. Certainly not the focal point of PS offense. Rich Kelly looked like the better former MAAC player scoring 17 for UMASS. Still very early, will be interesting to see how Pickett progresses throughout the season especially in big 10 play.

I did not know that Sloan Seymour is now at UNH. His getting 5 rebounds is certainly an achievement. Did he get that many in his entire year at Siena? I remember the classic game when he had 0 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 fouls, 0 foul shots, 0 steals, 0 turnovers and something like 15 points on five 3-pointers. A remarkable achievement when you think about it.

Sammy Friday starting for Eastern Illinois again this year. They lost to UAlbany today at the buzzer. Sammys stats so far this year 11.5/5.3/79.2% All in only 18 min a game.
He'd look awfully good in green and gold right now.

Do they put an asterik next to stat line every game? Who cares if he's in his 6th year, as long as he's eligible and has the ability to help his team. Id take him in a second, especially this year. IF he was here last year, the friction between Carm and Young (which clearly existed last year) could have been dealt with and there's avery good chance we'd have Youngs scholarship last May to get a good big to play next to Jackson.

I can't keep track of all the recent rule changes and covid adjustments. Could Sammy have played for us again THIS year?

Only played in 9 games. So he was at Siena for 4, played in 3. Went to E.I. to play a grad/5th year and because of Covid, got to play that year ('21), and an additional one ('22). So he's a 29 year old, 6th year senior citizen.
