...tonight:
Colin Golson started for Eastern Michigan, and had 9 & 8 in 25 minutes @ Indiana. Didnt shoot great (4-15), but pretty impressive first night in a tough environment.
Sloan Seymour had 10 pt and 5 REB!!! in a big UNH win over D-3 (maybe D-2?) St Joes in 25 minutes off the bench
Gary Harris came off bench for LMU, minutes not listed, no shots taken, 2 reb and an assist.
Jalen plays tomorrow night. Jordan and Don play this weekend.

Jalen had 9 points, 5 reb and 2 assists tonight in Penn States first game. He's not the PG, a kid that came in from Binghamton (Sessoms) is. That kid had 17 and 8 dimes.
Nittany Lions looked so-so to me. Think they'll really struggle in the Big 10.

Gary's athleticism was off the charts, but basketball IQ was not his strong suit. Kid is home. But grass is not always greener in new location

And Jalen had a couple nice looks/fakes. One that saw his big underneath and one that created an open shot for himself. He just has such great vision and awareness.

That makes sense since he is not a point guard. He's been a PG for the first 3 years of his college career. What games have you been watching? The ones where he turns his back to the basket from 30 feet away. At that level he's playing his best position. |

Jalen was fine in his first game. Slightly lackluster on offense-- I think he hasn't figured out the system yet. They effectively run 2-3 ball handlers at a time, and run deep with scoring options. Probably a .500 team in B1G play, as long as they get their offense worked out. They're going to get killed on the perimeter though.

Camper starting for Grand Rapids G League team. Put in 9 pts and 18 Rebs in a game high 44 minutes. They win 103-99 led by Lance Stephenson.
