On 1300 am Albany- the MAAC representative was kinda hinting about having the MAAC back in Albany. Saying " the crowds were amazing in Albany. "
You wonder if the MAAC is scared to loose Siena/Albany to the A10 ?! I say scew the MAAC!

I would soften my stance of the mAAC if they made the times union center the permanent home. Hold it where it has the best chance of succeeding.

I would soften my stance of the mAAC if they made the times union center the permanent home. Hold it where it has the best chance of succeeding. They are playing politics and REALLY SCARED. Plus, you would never see Albany / T.U. as the permanent home of the MAAC. The other schools would go nuts .. For Siena...at this point... the MAAC should be the ugly girl you run away from on the dance floor. Thats the way solid recruits are going to look at the water down MAAC in couple years

Saw Bob Belber at tourney yesterday. He said the loss dollar wise last year for those footing the bill was $175,000. He projected it to be more this year. He dispelled a rumor that the tourney would be moved to Bridgeport next year. My only thought was he was in Springfield to meet with Ensor, school presidents, and AD's.

The nice thing about Davidson is they got all their wins in one year, whereas Siena has yet to crack the sweet 16. I keep thinking that if Edwin's 3 had gone down in the Louisville game, or if Fran hadn't pulled the trigger too quick on Ronald Moore in the Villanova game this program might be in a different spot right now. Or if Jackson plays vs Pardue If hummel isnt injured Siena never plays purdue

Siena alltime versus current Atlantic 10:
St. Josephs 3-3 St. Bonaventure 6-27 (ouch) UMASS 2-6 Rhode Island 3-3 Fordham 9-11
Total 23-50
George Mason 0-0 Richmond 1-1 VCU 0-2 George Washington 2-1 LaSalle 3-4 Duquesne 2-0
Total 8-8
So it looks like we should be in the South division LOL. I am not making any judgments here, obviously some of the games were from a long time ago, another era even. I wonder how some of the other candidates' records against the A--10 compares to ours though.

St. Bonaventure 6-27 (ouch) Big sister used to beat us up a lot back in the day. And for some reason we let them get 3 more over us these last 3 years. That won't last forever, though.
