I don't care if he's no better than Denzel Tchouchang, we need a 13th body on the team. Would love to still get an impact guy but at this point you take whatever you can get as long as they are on their final year of eligibility.

while at Saratoga Racecourse last week I noticed a group of 5 guys who surely looked like basketball players and as they walked by so I inquired if they were BB players and they said yes, that they played at Albany State so told them that i am a Siena fan and they were in for an reversal of last season to which they started laughing and advised me that they beat us by 40 last season. One player was a transfer from St. Joes who was quite tall, so told them I would be at the game to watch the Saints win and they said after they win I would have to go down on the court so they could take a picture with them. Hope that ain't so Joe. GO SAINTS!!

We learned with Carm an empty chair is just a waste. I’m still hoping that GMAC has a grad transfer lined up but is just waiting for them to complete summer school classes for it to be finalized. |

We all want a contributor, but the point is if it comes down to an empty chair or someone that may/may not make an impact, I’ll take the body (with 1 year of eligibility). |

I agree S15. A body is at least a practice player. An empty chair is a guaranteed non-contributor

We all want a contributor, but the point is if it comes down to an empty chair or someone that may/may not make an impact, I’ll take the body (with 1 year of eligibility). Makes sense … player w one year of eligibility remaining who can spell a starter in foul trouble or a short bench due to injuries … |

Guess Im having a hard time understanding that we lose out on a 5th year impact kid like Almonor, and now we dont feel a need to replace him? Almonor would have been a POY candidate for sure.
I realize that finding a kid that good is a tough thing in mid-July, but I dont think we even tried. Our front line is talented, but very injury prone with very little on court experience. Ojo has played more minutes than any other big we have. Thats scary.
Im hoping the 17 yo from LuHi is a lot better than we know. Maybe he's the impact player we dont know about?

I don’t have any doubt GMAC tried. Like I’ve said before, I’m just hoping someone is lined up and just needs to finish summer classes. But at this late date I wouldn’t expect someone at the level of Almonor. But even without adding anyone else, this roster is head and shoulders above last years group. |
