We def need an older PF. 6'7" 230 type we can count on for 10 & 8 every night. We're very thin (literally) up front.

Besides, wouldn't a redshirt year (or playing) on full college scholarship be better than paying for a year of prep school? Unless someone can give me a very good reason for them, I'd hope that the years of providing scholarships for developmental (as opposed to medical) red shirt years are over. Why give someone a free ride - and possibly even NIL $ - for them to jump into the portal and play for someone else the very next year?

I thought Gerry in his podcast indicated that we were pretty well upfront. What I think we really need is somebody who can shoot the lights out on any given night … and I’m not seeing that right now.

Still one more to go. McNamara said he’s “down the road” on the 13th scholarship. Any insight on the position or potential targets? Could he have been talking about Doty as that 13th guy and there is someone else he was counting on as the 12th? Would be nice to get the last 2 spots locked down this week so they can get in on the team workouts. My take is Doty is the guy he had in mind for 12th because McNamara mentioned the timeframe of 2weeks which turns out matches Doty’s noted timeline. That and Almomor’s late decision would have resulted in a need for an alternate option for a forward slot moving finalization of that recruitment further down the line.

Our "new" frontcourt" and minutes they've played in college in the last 2 years: Milmoth--248 Carey--90 Bradford--0 (Incoming freshman) Jones--0 (17 yo, skipping Sr year in HS) To put the lack of experience in perspective, Ojo played 425 minutes in his freshman year, and a lot of people thought he didnt play enough. So he's by far our most experienced frontcourt player. The hole at PF, and the sub for the kid from FDU, is a glaring need IMO

My pick for PF is Jared Coleman-Jones, 6"10" 230 from Middle Tenn St. 11 and 7. Can run the floor, good post up moves and can shoot the three in limited numbers if needed. Or a clone with his ability. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5lzE-Gotta be a clone he committed to San Diego St. One transfer site had him uncommitted. He looked too good not to have signed and I checked VC and they had him committed.

"...need somebody who can shoot lights out on any given night". That might be Ducharme who was a big scorer in prep school.

Ducharme is an excellent shooter. The last pick will be a gem. Very much in the model of Kenny Hasbrook #41. Our Coaches plan a plot every move. Hang in guys

My brother lives in Cincy. They will miss Ducharme. Excellent 3 point shooter
Coach Mac is a planner and a hunter he knows what we need and will bust his butt to spend his last ticket on a game changer. HE CAME TO SIENA TO WIN
