You dont prove you can shoot when Lavon and Brett have 8 - 3 point field goals combined after 15 games. Listen we dont need to go down this road- Brett had a good night shooting the ball tonight's- props to him.

Do you really not notice a difference between the Mitch offenses where the ball and was forced into the post to Rossiter and later Anosike. Whenever Marquis gets the ball he's looking to run but smart players see when there isn't a break and slow it down. Nowhere did Jimmy lie they still play up tempo basketball when given the chance. Jimmy said first one to 80 wins, how often have we seen that? Like I said, I am thrilled with him. Just found it funny how literally people took coach-speak with Mitch when there were so many other reasons to fire him. He did say that but you also heard him say at Loyola wait till my players get here. You've heard him say at Siena that he wants to get more depth, and you see him trying to get the inherited players to buy into what he is preaching. But I'd say wait until the 2nd recruiting class comes in to judge him on his style of play.

Lol I knew you would say that...both can shoot even when guarded...Lavon has already demonstrated that... give credit when its due...Lavon is 3-5 from 3 as well You don't prove you're a good shooter in one night or even two. You prove it over a season and a career Should teach him how to not foul as much.... that would help him to get into the flow of the game instead of being pulled out because of foul trouble.

Offense is fun defense wins games..the starting 5 was locked in defensively. .while we struggled to score we stopped them from getting any open looks...All jumpers were challenged. ..and Silas had a block party in the lane...Lavon defended Myles and held him scoreless fighting through screens keeping him in front and challenging every shot..Myles did not score till Lavon subbed out...and like I said before we have 3's and 4's that can shoot the 3... I love the BIG line up.

Lavon struggled tonight guarding Myles- he was much too quick for him .. actually I was most impressed by Myles-- at 6'5" he had really good quickness. He was by far Riders best player

Lavon had an ok game - Ricky tack foul and out of position on the one where he got a lot of ball. He could be a 10 tog guy though. Needs to take 8-12 footer more

He's leading the nation in fouls per game for a reason. Some are just silly fouls but many are because he's struggling guarding quicker players. www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-basketball/player-stat/fouls-personal

Silas checks in at 19th but he had a great game today defensively. Some of Silas's fouls come from playing help D. He's an aggressive shot blocker I expect him to have 3 or" 4 fouls a game.

Some are just silly fouls but many are because he's struggling guarding the wing. www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-basketball/player-stat/fouls-personalThat's not what happened tonight.. players are starting to let there man go by rather than getting a foul...Lavon never does so he picks up one or 2 a game with the new rules...Myles did not score on him tonight...Lavon does just as well as the other wings on the team on the perimeter D. .his 1st foul trying to block a shot from behind that he should have left alone. ..the second was when Stewart drove and Lavon moved his feet yet the call went to the offensive player as it is called this year after any contact reguardless if you reach or not...he did not foul out and played most of the 2nd half with 3 fouls.... you guys will never admit it but Lavon continues to prove he is a capable perimeter defender.. I really dont care what you think... the coaching staff knows and that's why we can now play Brett at the 4. Lavon at the 3 and Poole at the 2 vs a team that averaged 80 pts per game and hold them 30+ points from their average
