The first half was brutal to watch but Siena really took over the in the second half. The defense was OUTSTANDING... yes Rider had a bad offensive game but the defensive effort was as good as it's been this season. Imoh had a great game on defense. Great game from Brett Bisping - best game on his young Siena career. Marquis Wright continues to make the plays a special PG makes. Wolfe had some good moments early in the game... surprised we didn't see White in the second half?
Good win...hopefully we can beat Marist and Iona next weekend and sweep this home stand. I believe in the team...we are getting tougher and learning how to win when we're not at our best.

M. White very little time and didn't play well. I think the kid has a lot of talent - but he forcing things. Can't wait to see some improvement from him. I think he could be a real solid player.

Where is everyone jumping down Jimmy's throat for lying about the style of play? Funny how winning cures everything. Never bought that the problem with Mitch was lying about the style of play, it was being a horrible head coach.

How many chip shots do we miss around the basket? 2- He's playing to the players strengths he has which is what good coaches do 3- We still are averaging what 68 PPG?

And that is exactly what you want the coach to do! I am thrilled with Jimmy, just found it funny.

It was a bad scout by Rider tonight, Brett was only shooting like 2 for 10 from 3 so Rider decided not to guard him and to Brett's credit he made them pay

Do you really not notice a difference between the Mitch offenses where the ball and was forced into the post to Rossiter and later Anosike. Whenever Marquis gets the ball he's looking to run but smart players see when there isn't a break and slow it down. Nowhere did Jimmy lie they still play up tempo basketball when given the chance.

And half of mitchs defensive scheme was to take the air out of the ball on offense. This team does run. They aren't converting at a high rate. Some of that is related to freshman inexperience and some of it is related to lack of talent.

Jimmy said first one to 80 wins, how often have we seen that? Like I said, I am thrilled with him. Just found it funny how literally people took coach-speak with Mitch when there were so many other reasons to fire him.

Completely different from what we saw under mitch which saw a guard dribbling the air out at the top of the key or forced entry passes to anosike. It is very different if you know what you're looking for

You prove it over a season and a career
