Here's a direct link to Rothstein's MAAC preview. A few observations/pre-season accolades in addition to his pre-season team rankings. No argument with his Top 3. Rothstein's MAAC Preseason Preview

When I look at this team ..I can't help but think of the 06-07 team. Like that team, Siena will be young and VERY talented. So maybe with GREAT coaching, growth and motivation ( from this fan base/blog) this team can win 19 - 20 games-and be 3rd or 4th in the MAAC. LET'S GO SAINTS!

Rothstein is an outsider looking in so his opinion is not valid...but you quote him when he says Lavon can handle the ball and everyone should listen to a national blogger as he knows what he is talking about. you can't have it both ways. unbelievable. Everybody knows that when Rothstein goes to see a team practice his series of tweets will make that team sound like a top 25 team loaded with all americans...and of course list his favorite restaurant in the area. If you look at his picks last year he was not very good

Keep in mind that we scored 76 pts vs. Skidmore in the preseason last year too. We won't know just how good the offense will be until the season starts. On paper, we have more guys that can score. Hopefully, we stay healthy and have no suspensions this year.
This season comes down to Marquis Wright. He has to engineer victories. Keep those turnovers down. If he's only turning the ball over 2-2.5 times a night. We'll be in a lot of games.
Rebounding and Defense in general could be a serious problem especially if Silas doesn't get his act together. There are some solid veteran big men around the league.

If you look at his picks last year he was not very good once again another new post that for no good reason has an abusive comment toward PPC. I don't get the attitude of some of you people. What did she just say, other than being positive toward the team, that warrants that kind of snide remark. I keep thinking daily as I read some of these comments that there must be some kind of gender bias against her. I for one don't think much of your comments or attitude toward her.

I don't care what you think. Take off your blinders and look at all of the recent threads and see how PPC has made them all about how great and versatile Lavon is. Lavon is getting a free education at a good program in a good mid major league with the possibility of being in the A-10 for a year or two before he graduates. But that does not seem to be enough, she has to constantly lobby on this board for her son to play the 3 because she has dreams of an NBA future for him. I just found it funny how Rothsteins "opinion" of Siena finishing 9th is just from an outsider who saw the team practice and shouldn't be taken seriously but she will reference his other "opinion" from the same practice how Lavon will be one of the teams primary ball handlers as gospel from a national blogger and proves her argument. Once again to justify her agenda. Recruiting is over, let Lavon make his own legacy over the next 4 years on the court and playing wherever Patsos feels is best for the team.
