Here we go again ,every time a player leaves he's soft ,cant play the up tempo game he has no character, stop he left because Carm threw many players under the bus Ely, Tekin who he put his hands on and Ojo during a game in which 4 or 5 people berated Carm for. Eley was hurt for most of the year and the only one to play in the MAAC tourney, soft hardly! GO SAINTS!!

Sorry, I totally disagree and all they went through was for nothing anyway with the NCAA ruling. Let that dude jet! I agree it was all for nothing, but just saying SD should feel like he owes some appreciation for what they tried to do before the ruling. If not, then yes, let him go! I also thought he was a selfish player so it wouldn’t surprise me if he has no appreciation, that kid got his. It was Ca4m’s risk to take and he took it.

SD selfish? You mean because he could score 30 when nobody else could kick it in the ocean? Wow. Some of you have little appreciation for how much a coach means to a college hoop team. For those old folks...think back to Beyer's last year and then Hewitt came in with much the same roster. He completely changed the complexion of Siena games. Sure the kids were a year older and there were some new recruits but he pretty much turned things around with the same roster.

Not to mention, look at the rest of the roster and the players he and Eley were playing with. If those two were not going to score who was? Basketball is a team sport and when your teammates are mostly D2 & D3 caliber players, what are talented scorers like SD and ME supposed to do? Defer to the walk-ons?

Sorry to say - here is where I am right now with Siena basketball - used to be I feared the portal news, hoping against hope that we wouldn't lose players who I had supported all year. Now, sad as it is to say it - unless there is a change in the coaching ranks at Siena, Siena will CONTINUE as a bottom feeder in the MAAC and continue to be in the bottom ten teams in the entire NCAA. It does not matter who leaves, who comes in, none of it matters. The key piece to the puzzle is missing and Siena can plan on another PIG game in 2025 and another quick exit from the MAAC tourney. Sad to say.................... I hate saying it, but that is the truth.

I really think the admins are going to be stunned by the number of tix that lapse this year. They deserve every lost ticket.

The admin doesn't care, that is the root of the problem and nothing is going to change unless that attitude changes and that seems doubtful. I honestly think they will be back in the ARC in 10 years and the admin will be just fine with that.

How in the world could you have a basketball program that at one time competed with and defeated Vanderbuilt and Ohio State and was year after year the class of the MAAC, now to be among the worst in all of D-1? ?? How could that be allowed to happen??? This is NOT just one bad year, it has been a trend that all loyal followers of the Saints can read - obviously no one in a position to change the trend cares. They love that basketball sucks. They are now at the point of scheduling all D2 and D3 non-league opponents for next year, and still not competing!!! So very sad.

I followed every single move of the Saints, but it has totally changed and not for the better.

Absolutely knew this would come. Carm would sit him for 20 minutes at a time. It was obvious that the two of them were so far apart.

Another one that I can say thank god too! Ships opening for players that want to be here and play is never a bad thing!
I am curious to see if he gets another d1 offer.
