You would if it meant giving Carm the heave ho and being able to afford a coach while buying Carm out. You hire him on an interim basis. Let him prove himself! Nope. No Thank you. Will's best coaching days are behind him. I'd rather see Wyche get a shot before WB. Thankfully, that's your opinion. Doubt that Wyche would take the pay that Brown would. If he would fine!

If things don't turn around, these are some names to keep an eye on. No inside information, these are just guys that I think are potentially attainable and qualified. Joe Gallo, Merrimack- From NJ, has had success at Merrimack even considering their transition to D1 Matt Capell, St Thomas Aquinas- From Buffalo area, protege of Tobin Anderson, has maintained STAC as a D2 power Phil Martelli Jr, Bryant- From suburban Philly, Paid dues as an assistant for years despite famous coaching father, has Bryant playing well so far Jordan Fee, Gannon- From Western PA, Mid 30's, In first year at Gannon they are 16-2 and ranked 12th in D2 while averaging 106 PPG. Last year Gannon went 3-23. That's a shocking turn around. Jordon Fee - Don’t know if this dudes skills and abilities transfer to D1 but in D2 they play a fun attacking uptempo style and put up an ungodly number of points. Check out some of the numbers. This guy has been in the NYS system for over 20 years he’s working & banking his state retirement time. Besides taking a small college coach from that low a level is far too risky. Siena can’t afford to miss next time around.

Gregg Marshall former Winthrop and Wichita St head coach.
I know it’s a pipe dream but Iona did it for Pitino.
This guy is truly one of the best coaches in CBB before he had his issues.
Isn’t it the Franciscan way for a second chance?
He’d make Siena elite again while rebuilding his reputation like Rick— stay for 3-5 years before getting a HM job which would be fine with me.

Wow I forgot about him. Not a bad thought. This subject is fun but honestly, deep down, I don’t think Siena has the stomach to relieve Carm of his duties.

I don’t think basketball has the clout it had in the past with the administration.

I can see an end of season presser after getting bounced in first round of the tournament explaining Carms track record and he deserves to make this right blah blah blah. He’s here next year folks I truly fear.

Fun topic but we all know the realty of the situation. I think we can legitimately have this conversation in a year from now. Situation will not get better and Carm won’t all of a sudden learn to coach. Even more than his recruiting, I think he’s a horrible coach.

Might not be the stomach but economics that force them. When boosters threaten to pull out action happens.
