What is the possibility of Drew Edwards red shirt Jr immediately eligible 6’6” guard out of Providence?Shoots the three solid at the FT line and reputed to be solid defensively.

Jalyn Hinton transferring from Jacksonville. He's a sit one play two kid. From Massachusetts and played with BABC. Could be a good target.

Could be a good target. interesting recruit 6'5" guard.............as a FR avg 7.2pts, on a whopping 59FG % (yowza), oddly though he did not attempt even 1 3pter (very strange in this day & age), but shot only 48% from charity stripe (KK is gonna hate that for sure)............but he does rebound solidly for a guard at almost 5 a game.........has at least a positive A/TO (but minute).....and led the team in blocks with 56 (very good).......haven't had the chance to view any action of his, but just from these numbers he could be a really good athlete who gets to the rim and at least can defend.............perhaps others have more solid info to share....................

7.2 points 59% shooting no 3s and 48% from the line tells me he has no outside shot but can get to the hoop. I wonder if those 5 boards are his own offensive rebounds.

We need a replacement for Walker first and foremost. This guy is probably not that.

Just a small world college basketball story involving Drew Edwards of Providence. When Nico Clareth had finally had enough of JP's dysfunctional coaching style and decided to sit out the rest of his last season, his friend Drew Edwards reached out to him about transferring to PC. It never amounted to anything and Nico ended up at Nicholls State in Louisiana. Now Drew has become a free agent...

So now that there is clarity on the roster, will be interesting to see how Carm elects to use the open spots. Grad transfer, sit out transfer, freshman? What positions?

i was checking out the Lehigh Verbal Commits site since Wyche probbaly is recruiting any of them. Not many seniors that excite me but they are recruiting Amica (HJ likes this), Lincoln Ball, and Caleb Dorsey who we have shown interest to. Would love to see how new staff expands or focuses recruiting area.

Noah Hutchins is being recruited by GW. If Walker signs on as a PG maybe Hutchins can be in play for Siena.Although he has plenty of other options.

I really like Hutchins game- but I think he will be a tough get for Siena, Noah is a 1, and that's it. I get you can slide Carey over to 3, but think it would be a tough sell. Think Siena needs to land a combo type guard- but I'd take Hutchins in a second

Noah is a player. Doesn’t need the ball to succeed. People see 6’ and assume he can’t play off the ball....he can/could. Does he want to run his own team? Maybe. All I know is we need another guard, maybe 2 for next year. Ps-EVERY. MAAC starting lineup had 3 guards in it....except for us. We need to try it too

Moving a 6 5 Carey to the wing which is still basically a SG and having Pickett and Hutchins both playing on and off the ball would work just fine.Todays motion based offense’s doesn’t necessarily require a dedicated PG to run and neither does the pick and roll.

I don’t necessarily disagree with you- but convincing a 3 star prospect that has 18 scholarship offers to come to Siena, when he knows Jalen and Don will get 60 min plus a game is going to be an extremely tough ‘sell’ Many of those 18 offers Noah would be the “man” Being a year behind Jalen, Noah would never be the “man” at Siena. I’d love to see Carm land Noah, all I’m saying is don’t hold your breath, I just don’t see it. Next year we could land a guy like Noah, when you would have some separation between incoming freshmen and Jalen/Don. I think our best bet to get quality guard this year is to land a combo guard that can play multiple positions

I think our best bet to get quality guard this year is to land a combo guard that can play multiple positions According to the NBA kid from Kansas, Pickett is a definite first round pick next year, so maybe we show that to any incoming freshman guards?? Remember, he's also a City Rock kid. Of those 18 offers, which i do think he got, not sure how many still exist. The bigger schools on his list (Umass, Penn St, Wake Forest and Temple) all signed freshman PG's already. It leaves a lot of Mid-majors I'm not worried about, AND, GW. Which really needs a PG. Ryan Devlin will have an in with him, and I have to admit GW would be a good spot for him. Guess we'll see if JC likes 6' guards afterall

Hutchins is visiting Yale, Fordham and Penn State and said he hopes to pick from that group but schools come out of the woodwork this time of year and a good situation could present itself.
Also he has a younger, bigger brother we could focus on
