Moving a 6 5 Carey to the wing which is still basically a SG and having Pickett and Hutchins both playing on and off the ball would work just fine.Todays motion based offense’s don’t necessarily require a dedicated PG to run and neither does the pick and roll. I don’t necessarily disagree with you- but convincing a 3 star prospect that has 18 scholarship offers to come to Siena, when he knows Jalen and Don will get 60 min plus a game is going to be an extremely tough ‘sell’ Many of those 18 offers Noah would be the “man” Being a year behind Jalen, Noah would never be the “man” at Siena. I’d love to see Carm land Noah, all I’m saying is don’t hold your breath, I just don’t see it. Next year we could land a guy like Noah, when you would have some separation between incoming freshmen and Jalen/Don. I think our best bet to get quality guard this year is to land a combo guard that can play multiple positions All true just pointing out that we could potentially go 3 guards without it causing any issues. Especially with 6 4 Pickett and 6 5 Carey.

Hey can we say Andre Jackson visited Siena now. Well facts are facts and you have the evidence to support it so I would say it is admissible. But then you could go the Bill Clinton route and get into the definition of “visit”

I don't know if it is significant, but Terry Nolan retweeted Carm's It's a great day to be a Saint tweet from Tuesday. I believe was it was Nolan's dad who retweeted it but still interesting. Would be a tough sell that Nolan, Jalen and Don would all be juniors together. I guess if Jalen blew up and got drafted it would give us some insurance for 2020-21 and 2021-22 but still would be tough to get him. It would be ironic getting a GW player. One thing that we will see is that Siena/GW will be competing for recruits. With Fran and Hewitt that wasn't going to be the case because they were coaching in the BCS and for obvious geographic reasons. But if Siena is recruiting at the level we want them to recruit at to dominate the MAAC - GW/A10 and the DMV is a primary competition area. We'll see you on the trail, 17. What would be ironic is Nolan coming to Siena, Siena making the NCAA Tournament the next 3-5 years in a row. Then GW struggling to reach .500 after 3-5 years. It would show/prove we retained the better coach.

I would worry about our own house and showing we can recruit and win consistently enough to compete in the MAAC. I wouldn’t worry about GW/A10 and Jamion because I’m sure when it’s all said and done he’s going to be just fine.
Siena has been so inconsistent, I’m hoping Carm brings that consistency and stability that we’ve been so sorely missing!

Not worried about them...but if Carm gets us where we wants recruiting against A10 programs (especially lower level ones) is where you want to be. We were never going to recruit against Iowa or Georgia Tech. Just adds to the storyline a little bit.

The things that separate Siena from most mid majors are a given. Fan and financial support are not in question. Carm's ability to exploit those advantages remains to be seen. I am hopeful and optimistic that he can take advantage of what siena has to offer. Let's go Saints!!

6-7 CF Kennedy Koehler might be an interesting guy to take a look at. Some may remember him, Jimmy was on him for awhile. He had a decent year at JUCO... averaging 19ppg. He's not overly athletic but he's skilled with the ball and he shot 51% from the field and 41% from 3.....but here's the kicker...he also had 10.7 rebs per game while doing it.
He's both gritty and skilled. He's also probably obtainable. CC just offered him and a lot of other mids.

Wasn’t he a west coast kid? Thought he went D-2 in California?
