Perhaps a dumb question.......is there a limit to the # of grad transfers a school can take for a season?..........it appears we are in the mix for some solid players & a few more not yet publicized...........also, very probable that Woods opts out at Neb which puts him possibly back on Carms radar

I don’t think there is a limit on amount of grad transfers you take. But Carm is talking about sustainable winning. We already have Burns as a 1 and done, barring anyone else leaving I would expect us to sign no more than 1 more grad transfer, and use other current opening on a freshman – if we can get a good one. If not I wouldn’t mind holding that one for possible mid-season transfer next year or use it next year on a freshmen And again that can change if we lose Walker or Sloan transfers. Grad transfers are great to plug a gap, but generally speaking I don’t think you want to build your team around them. As for Woods, with Carm we probably have a shot, but pretty sure Woods wants to go “big time” so I would be very pleasantly surprised if Carm could land him. My guess if Woods doesn’t get a big offer he stays at Nebraska unless new coach doesn’t want him

Woods wants nothing to do with the MAAC. Sure we already moved on from him. But I’d take Noah Hutchins from the Park School in a heartbeat. He can play.

Hutchins - athletic, gets up, quick and gets to the hoop, not sure about perimeter shooting. Do we actually have any interest?

One smaller guard is ok to me and probably helps switch up tempo etc

Until Pickett really commits to us, I’d have to think Noah would be a good kid to feel out for now. He’s got a lot of offers. Heard he’s a great student and wants Ivy like Mahoney from AA

He's not that great of a shooter yet but looks like he's improving. Otherwise, he seems like he'd be a solid piece and active. I'd put feelers out even WITH Pickett and Walker. We need another guard either way.

From the sounds of it Jalen seems pretty sure, it looks like his mom needs to be reassured that the staff has his best interests in mind. I’m guessing / hoping the “yes” comes after a sit down with Carm. 🤞

You add him with Pickett, Carey, and Walker and you'd have a lethal 4 guard package from an attacking and defensive standpoint. He could be 6th man/spot starter right off the bat and spell all three other big guards while bringing some impact energy. Green light Carm.

I’m guessing / hoping the “yes” comes after a sit down with Carm. 🤞 I know it hurts Siena's chances of having Pickett for his senior year but Carm's best sell job might be to convince Mom he is going to do everything possible to try and help Jalen graduate in three years which would open up a boatload of opportunities at that point. He could still opt to do a year of grad school at Siena at that point if they program is back where it belongs.

Wyland is going to interview Carm at 1130am on 104.5 The Team. What Seymour may be thinking of was one of the "teaser" issues thrown out to be addressed

Sounded like Walker is up in the air and could wind up at GW but Carm has been in contact.
I hope he lands here but Carm did say although he was involved with his recruiting so was JC.

Just heard Carm on the show. He said he believes Sloan is coming back, but that he was upset about JC leaving and needs time to think it over. He is meeting with him today.
Also said he is not sure about Walker. He said both he and JC recruited him and that he may want to stay a Saint, but that he might also want to go to GW. He is going down to talk to him soon, but I am guessing the allure of staying close to home and being JC's building block recruit ala Pickett is too much to overcome. Why wouldn't the guy want to go at a higher level with a chance to be the legacy turn-it-around guy? Unfortunate, but hopefully Carm has some leads on other strong guards still available to replace him.
