17 got the GW job primarily on what he did at MSM. While he did a very good job in his one season at Siena hard to imagine he’s getting another job after one career 17-16 season. Personally there’s more than we know. IMHO at some point he realized he made a mistake leaving an area he was from his whole life. He didn’t need Siena to get GW. The thought was he left MSM for Siena to win big and eventually get a BCS job. If it was to go to the A10 he would’ve just stayed at MSM. Anyway I’m excited about the future!! Go Saints!!! We lost JC the minute that new AD got her job at GW. JC helped by doing a great job. If he won 10 games, he’d still be here. Are you kidding me? Get this to smack talk ASAP admins!

The espn radio show guys stayed the same thing the day JC was interviewing/being offered the job. They used those exact words “he’s in tight with the new AD”. Then proceeded to say the AD was a Women and they had the “word play” thing going (in tight with her).

My bet is that this wasn't a career move so much as a family move. Career-wise Siena has had arguably as much or more success than GW over the years - conference aside. My bet is that his wife missed the DC area and was unhappy in upstate NY. I think that's what drove the decision. After seeing the picture of the former coach and his wife posted on Twitter; and her comment below the picture. I think this is close to the mark. They have not been married for a year yet. This is what sort of bugs me about this whole thing about keeping the wife happy type comments. They got married after he accepted the Siena job (or was it they went on their honeymoon after accepting the job?). Anyway, she knew he was taking this kid up north and if she didn’t want to move up here she should have told him then so he didn’t take the job. I’m still suffering for being hurt by his/her decision; so I’m holding a little grudge (as a Siena fans and seeing what he was capable of accomplishing) for a little while longer. Of course, I don’t blame him from a non-Siena basketball perspective.

Time for JC to update his website: www.jamionchristian.com/. You would think he still is the Saints coach by looking at it. What a difference less than 1 year makes....

Allie is a media consultant; I would assume she forgot to do that as she must be packing the house up in Loudonville

Now as far as the wife goes, maybe, just maybe, she agreed to give it a shot and it didn’t work out. Anyway, water under the bridge, it’s over!

They could not 'take the kid up north'....his mother holds the cards in the custody arrangement and that is that his grandmother (Jamion's mother) had to bring him here for them to have visits per the agreed schedule that was made difficult because of the mileage between the two parental residences and his job as HC. Many couples try a move and find out is doesn't work out and regroup. Does it suck that we all bought into the love? Yep, but I am over it. Maybe it's because I don't have spousal baggage- but bet all of you who do consider their happiness integral to maintaining the marriage.

If JC had a connection with the AD then this deal was likely done before Maurice Joseph’s body was cold. Like when 16 had a deal done with Siena when Mitch was still coaching. But I’m over it. If we can keep the roster together who knows this could be a good thing in both the short and long term for Siena.

MTS, I have to quit agreeing with you, but I do and you are more succinct about how you express it.
