Burns vs. Fisher could be a decent net plus next year.
Sometimes less could be more. Fisher's PPS now sits at 1.145...which is horrendous for a big man if anyone needs to ask. Burns is a career 1.40 or so...much more like a big man should be. Fisher just can't keep shooting us into oblivion. He's not making threes and he's not drawing fouls.
It hurts. This team needs him to refocus NOW.
Fisher should not shoot a 3 the rest of his career.

Great game and love that Christian has this team ready to fight back no matter what but how did he not see that switching in man was not working? Baker Dunleavy put on a clinic against the switch by assuring that enough switches occurred to get Degnan or Fisher on Young. They finally glued Camper and Smithen to him late and stopped switching but how did he not see that earlier? Images of Young one on one with Degnan will haunt my dreams tonight. It could be that he was worried about fouling. The fouls ended up being spread pretty evenly among the 3 of them...which benefitted us.

Yeah, the unexpected foul trouble was a killer but asking Degnan or Fisher to ever switch and guard Young is insane.

Fisher has trouble guarding stationary players. Guys that move like Young are pretty much impossible for him.

Agreed it would have been much better with a win. But I like getting the school's name out there whenever possible... unless it's the coach doing fake handshakes.

I still don’t think I can watch the highlights but it least it’s not our coach handshaking the air or fighting another coach.

All in all great game and great comeback, it was both tough and exciting to watch at the TU. I don’t think it’s fair to point the finger at one player or play because the game was not lost because on either. You have to tip your hat to both coaches, in a marathon like that, they both have to make the right more often then not. It’s no reason why they are both rising stars in the coaching world.
One stat I don’t think has been mentioned was that Siena’s bench outscored Quinny’s 5-3. That’s nuts when 207 points were scored. One of positives I can take from that is hopefully with the added depth coming in this will not a weak point in years to come and we should be able to win then bench battle. Good teams win often because the production drop of from their 4 or 5 option is not much or anything from their 6-8 options.
Go Saints

Just got back- great game, what a show the two best players in MAAC put on. A few things, I won’t pile on Evan , but MAAC teams have him figured out. He was killing us out there and it took coach too long to take him out, as soon as he did we started coming back. Why Coach was insisting on Degnan guarding Young is beyond me- at least Manny slowed him down. I was surprised Quinny didn’t double Jalen - and to his credit Jalen made him pay- not sure what the Siena freshmen scoring record is – but wouldn’t be surprised if its Jalen’s now. I wasn’t happy with shot selection with 22 sec left and we have to settle for contested 3—we should have had someone going to hoop. And one last thing hats off to Cameron Young, clearly the best player in the MAAC Do you think Qpac is the top team in the MAAC? Also, do you see Siena & Qpac being top teams in the MAAC next year? Both have very good young coaches

Next year Quinny will probably be good but they graduate Young (Thank God). If everything goes according to plan Siena is the favorite next year IMHO.

Really felt like Q going zone in the OTs hurt our offensive flow. We didn’t adjust to run any type of offense against it. Some said the Q’s bigs fouled out, no I meant he had Rigoni as his 5 late in this OTs. I don’t think Marfo fouled out!? I honestly thought Sloan’s 3 would be the winning play tonight, but...and I wanna give him credit tonight. He went to the floor at least 2 times for loose balls!! How can you not, after watching Kadeem give up his body on a regular basis?! Keep it up Sloan!

What surprised me a bit was not seeing Ratliffe much in the OT periods. Did he get in the first 2 at all?
