I dont think fisher needs to play another minute this year.
You can't say that. But 4 pts on 14 shots is horrendous.

...and he was no better then a traffic cone on defense and on the glass. Go small, play him off the bench if you have too.

Tough loss... They had some brutal shot selection at the end of the game that cost them- Settling for way too many super long 3's and burning too much clock to find any kind of shot when they were down- Sloane with some poor shots

Just back from the arena...great game, great crowd...heartbreaker... Tip of the hat to Quinny for not breaking when we came back. What can you say Young was unbelieveable easily the MAAC POY.
Jalen was tremendous...wish we had a better play for him at the end of the second OT.
These kids really played their @$$ off...easily could've folded down 20 in the second half...just can't dig a hole that big.
On to St. Peter's...have to have it.
Manhattan beat Canisius, Marist beat Monmouth...the league is nuts.

Excellent come back, a lot of fun. Coach finally ran a double on young at about the :15 mark of each possession, thought they could have done that earlier. Also needed to put camper on young more than Degnan in the second half, foul trouble be damned. A lot of fight in this team. Pickett stepped up like he should every game. It’s his team, already. Hopefully coach will tell him to run his set earlier on the final play of the game next time. I think the crowd appreciated the effort despite another home loss. Smithen was playing with a hurt shoulder, still first man on the floor after loose balls. What an effort!

I don't want to kill Fisher but let's face it the team came back when he was on the bench. Ratliff gave us a nice lift. Friday probably isn't coming back this year. Evan's minutes should be limited to 25 a game. Really thought we were going to pull it off when Seymour hit that 3....Young just was the best player on the floor. And no, HJ, Baker didn't take JC to the "woodshed" 16 is the reason it's Pickett and a bunch of kids who while they play their hearts out are role guys on a top MAAC team.

Obviously a tough loss( Pickett should’ve got going with 10-12 seconds left at the end of 2OT rather than 6) but a fantastic game overall. Pickett is an absolute stud and could’ve used some help out there but nothing to be ashamed of in the least considering the circumstances of the game. After what I saw today( the crowd was excellent) I feel sorry for the teams that have to face Siena in the MAAC tournament. Best move JC made was pulling Fisher in the second half. Also some stunners that keep the team only a game out of first as Manhattan won at canisius and Marist won at Monmouth which keeps the team only a game out of first. These last couple weeks of conference play are going to be hectic and a hell of a lot of fun. Go Saints!

Good news is that Cameron Young is a senior. Siena might not have to face him ever again, good lord willing.

This game really scares me. QU is playing really well and has more scoring options than we do. Coach has to get this team refocused on what we do well. Hope the Iona stinker brings a greater resolve. Doesn’t scar me. Quinny’s on the road and plsyibg their third games in 5-6 days. Someone bring Quinny players the oxygen tanks. Yeah, we've got them on the ropes if it goes to three overtimes for sure!

Great game. Didn’t read the entire thread so sorry if I am repeating what others said.
Unbelievable comeback that started when Degnan started playing the 5. Huge plays from a number of guys down the stretch.
Call on camper to foul him out was the final turning point. It was the right call, he used his hands to create space. Second biggest play was the near steal by Pickett that turned into an open Kelly 3.
Young hit some ridiculous shots and Kelly was absolutely clutch.
Last but not least, Pickett is the man. Incredible game but he was tired in the 3rd overtime. He can only carry his team for so long.
Actually one other thing, what is up with the end of Dunleavy’s nose?

Just got back- great game, what a show the two best players in MAAC put on. A few things, I won’t pile on Evan , but MAAC teams have him figured out. He was killing us out there and it took coach too long to take him out, as soon as he did we started coming back. Why Coach was insisting on Degnan guarding Young is beyond me- at least Manny slowed him down. I was surprised Quinny didn’t double Jalen - and to his credit Jalen made him pay- not sure what the Siena freshmen scoring record is – but wouldn’t be surprised if its Jalen’s now. I wasn’t happy with shot selection with 22 sec left and we have to settle for contested 3—we should have had someone going to hoop. And one last thing hats off to Cameron Young, clearly the best player in the MAAC

Burns vs. Fisher could be a decent net plus next year.
Sometimes less could be more. Fisher's PPS now sits at 1.145...which is horrendous for a big man if anyone needs to ask.
Burns is a career 1.40 or so...much more like a big man should be.
Fisher just can't keep shooting us into oblivion. He's not making threes and he's not drawing fouls.
It hurts.
This team needs him to refocus NOW.

not sure what the Siena freshmen scoring record is – but wouldn’t be surprised if its Jalen’s now. Pickett now has 419 to Clareth's 447.
28 points to go with ~5+ games left.

Great game and love that Christian has this team ready to fight back no matter what but how did he not see that switching in man was not working? Baker Dunleavy put on a clinic against the switch by assuring that enough switches occurred to get Degnan or Fisher on Young. They finally glued Camper and Smithen to him late and stopped switching but how did he not see that earlier? Images of Young one on one with Degnan will haunt my dreams tonight.
