Will would win here. Maybe not make consistent NCAA’s, but he’d win. For those who say he can’t recruit HS kids: look at Cremo, Nichols, Stire, Mike Black, Iati; and now De Sousa and Rizzuto in this class. He can do it, he hairy doesn’t typically go that route. The JUCO stuff would concern me. I dont know if Siena would let any i know. Those have been key for him to keep the rebuilding years looking good. Same way Iona does it.
I wouldn’t want him (especially if Jamion is an option) because he’s not the hire Siena needs now. Siena needed a Will after Mitch or Fran, a guy who would just win and be solid, nothing flashy, just hangs in. Right now a hire like Will would feel uninspiring, wouldn’t bring any energy, plus the rivalry thing. Jamion would bring energy. So would Francis, GMac, etc.
Best thing I saw on Twitter: would he want to go to SEFCU?

Underwhelming to say the least. We need someone that’s going to build hype and breathe some air into this lifeless corpse of a program. Those names aren’t gonna do it.

How much more do you want? Pitino? Other than him who was a realistic candidate coming into this? Maybe Becker?

He wants the guy from Miami. I do like Caputo a lot (unsubstantiated dirt and all). I like Becker a lot as well. Becker recruits extremely well and without Jucos, solid coach and is a winner that fans will get behind. I don’t see Brown at Siena - too divisive a hire. GMac is too raw. J Christian IDK he’s respected, seems like he can recruit but also seems a bit gimmicky to me...Francis meh not a great X’s O’s guy, no northeast recruiting ties or had ties but they are over 11 years old now. Brown Francis GMac Christian uninspiring list imo. Give me Becker or Caputo all day, any day!

Aside from his grating personality which we have seen time and time again over his years across the "street," my biggest concern is what he has failed to produce at UA. I believe the school has the resources to support his Program in the same relative fashion that they support football and LAX and other sports which I know nothing about. Time and again they have played up in the NEC but are constantly stymied by their rivals in Burlington - he just can't get that next big one. He just doesn't seem able to get them to the top and into the postseason. He's a good coach but not a consistent winner in my book and I doubt he'd be any different playing all his home games at the TUC.

Including against Becker. He's been to the ncaa 5 times... He's almost perfect in championship games... 5-1 You could do far worse... Far...

Holy F. Will Brown to Siena would be priceless on this board. The venom towards him would make JP look beloved. More non sense but fun to see your guys reaction. This is truly becoming a circle jerk.

Not if he wins MAAC championships. I'm not a Will Brown guy but we could do much worse. He better beat UA - I'll tell you that!
