Watching handshake line, it's funny, FF's assistants seem to average about 55 years old, and our staff is about 32. JP was asking Nelson for his autograph...............

Clueless as usual why do you bother. You havent a clue about recruiting, or what HS kids want. Your blind hate of JP makes you say stupid things, or maybe thats a normal thing? More than likely. If there was a poll asking HS kids whats the most important thing they look for in choosing a college, its immediate playing time. Deny that again, and show me how ignorant you really are. I say stupid things coming from you that’s epic.

While the opportunity for playing time is important, I believe they also want to be a part of winning culture and see/feel that they have a shot at going to the dance in their college career. We are not appealing on either of those at this point, and most likely will not be during this tenure.

Don't look worse... have not fallen apart Again Penn is a valuable member of the team. He was over used.. the team is doing fine without him. Others are just as good if not better... they are proving that they can contribute if given a chance Looks like you spoke to soon. It’s a 40 minute game. Richards played well but no way does he do more than Penn over the course of a game. I agree Penn is playing too many minutes, but Richards is a different type of player. He’s an undersized 2g playing point right now. He doesn’t have the handle to play the 1, and he doesn’t make the pass that makes his teammates better consistently Don't know what game you were watching lol Richard has a solid handle and ran the point well. Team struggled but he demonstrated that he is a pg that is being told to score. Penn is a pass first pg. Not a scorer. He can't play any other position on this team. Not a good defender either. And instead of fighting with his own bogs for a rebound Penn should be calling for the outlet pass to start transition. He does not do more than Richard

Again, what is it with you, can you read? What I said pretty clearly was that what a player wants is irrelevant and that it’s up to the coach to do what’s right for that players development. Your buddy, primarily due to poor recruiting and running players off has been forced to play Oduro more. Everyone knows bigs at this level take longer to develop. Your comment had $hit to do with my post.

While the opportunity for playing time is important It's #1, 2 and 3 for kids nowadays. Instant gratification. Its why the transfer rate is astronomical. Being part of a "winning team" is nice, but not more important than kids getting their 30 min a night. It's a different world GB.

That’s exactly why our transfer rate is so high having lost well over 70% of our first 3 classes. Recruit players that fit and you mitigate that issue. Rex loses players far beyond the NCAA transfer numbers because he hasn’t adequately targeted kids that fit both the school and level of play needed for the program to be successful. Of course playing time is important but it’s far from the only factor, if playing time is the “1, 2 & 3” on players wish list’s why did Rex whiff when we had so much quality time to offer? Once again another myopic point of view.

we can agree to disagree, but the bottom line is if you think any kid on this Siena team is gratified, you are sadly mistaken. I'm not buying that they are so happy to get 30 min a night and having their current W/L record.
