damn I hope your right BUT I have no faith in this coach and his abilities and philosophies it took a herculean effort of 8/12 threes from a bench player who Im sure Memphis did little to scout. 14/30 as a team and you still lose. If it is a normal shooting night for Siena then they lose by 15 to 20. any time a game plays out like this there arent a lot of moral victories to be had. Horn kept them in it and thus kept it respectable. Hopefully its a vote of confidence in Horn. Of course with Patsos we could possibly not see Horn again for 2 or 3 games so who knows. The deficiencies of players like Horn have not changed, however.

Agree that this should a good stretch for the Saints. Sign me up right now for a 3-1 start to the MAAC.

damn I hope your right BUT I have no faith in this coach and his abilities and philosophies So, when Siena plays well and is prepared, as they obviously were last night against Memphis, the coach and his abilities and philosophies have nothing to do with that? When everything good happens it is because of the players and when everything bad happens it is because of the coach?

They fouled to the end and let Memphis out score them by 20 from the line. They also let the shot clock run out at least 3 if not 4 times. If Horn didn't go off for 24 the games not even close.

NOPE, but the coach has a L O N G past performance history so you need to accept that people are not talking out of the A$$ES...there are clear patterns to back it up. The COACH (ie Manager) puts the staff together (identify talent) and then, as any good manager should always has to put them in a position to succeed. I'm not saying JP can't change, HELL he even shouldered responsibility in the pregame interview last night. But I am saying it needs to happen fast if this program is going to stay relevant in the MAAC consistently. Not just recruiting, trusting those recruits and your staff to put everyone in a position to succeed. No gimmicks, no chest puffing....no bull$hit.

Greenie, the fact that we have seen no ability to adapt to game situations, such as stopping big runs like Memphis pulled off last night, after all this time suggests he can't or won't change. HoopDad, it's not hate; its the facts.

Additionally, that Memphis team is NOT the same caliber of the one we played in 2008 or 2009. This Memphis team will end the year at the bottom of the American conference. They are a BCS power program but this year's team stinks. They beat us by 4 and UA by 9. We stink and UA isn't all that much better. UA taking UL to the wire was nice to see but an L is an L.

They explained it for you. It took a bench player shooting lights out from 3, otherwise it would have been a blowout. No moral victories it's still a loss. Now when and if they Win a few in a row it's going to be because the competition stinks. Same old stuff. As a fluffer we have to respond the same way too.

@ Papi...when and if they win a few it just might be because the genius at the top is either reading this board (I have always said it's not his lack of intelligence that kills him) or D'arg finally is feeling the heat and a PIP plan (not necessarily related to winning but having the team play with a plan and purpose) implemented. Capice?

I canโt wait until papi tells me I told you so when the saints cut down the nets this March. It may not be this March, but it will happen soon. 0-0 in the maac.
