Here's a fact. We won a road game by 20 today. Try to enjoy it instead of letting it ruin your day.

You overlook that this isn’t a “one-off” this is Jimbo’s MO. Jimbo now has an almost 5 year track-record here at Siena what you see is what you get ... he ain’t changin’ So if you like boarderline D2 basketball, a coach that opens mouth serves foot, no leadership and poor coaching/recruiting...he’s your man! Enjoy. Do you even read the posts of the people that you try to attack on here and spew your crap at? My posts have nothing to do with what you are coming at me with. Go pick on someone else on here. I am not interested in playing your games or responding to your closed minded rants. How about just addressing today's game which is what this thread is about? How about calling out some positives of today's game? A 19 point win on the road, a 54 point bench scoring performance, 42-21 advantage rebounding advantage, a 20-5 margin in second chance points. How about being positive and hoping the team can build on this win and continue to get better? You come on this board normally after a win, puff your chest out with a holier than thou attitude like you know it all. We get you like Jimmy and that is fine, please. Build what after this win? Jimmy Patsos has never been a consistent winner his entire head coaching career, after 5 years he will have an overall losing record at Siena. This year will be 4th losing regular season in 5 years at Siena. 5 straight losses to Vermont, 4 out of 5 losses to UA - only 1 finish in top 4 in MAAC, consistently loses to top of MAAC- lazy recruiter, takes most of mid March to August off for vacation, poor recruiting do I need to go on? Am I factually wrong on any of this?

Am I factually wrong on any of this? Show me one post where I have ever said that I like Jimmy? I understand what Jimmy's record is and I understand the history of the program. We are not going to change either by bitching and moaning on here. I always wish Siena the best, no matter who the coach is and wish they win whatever their record is or who their opponent is. I have been critical of this team and the talent level of the players in past posts. At this point of the season, the only positive is to celebrate the wins and hope this team gets good enough to be competitive in the MAAC and dare I say it, compete for a MAAC championship by the end of the season. If at the end of the season they have not done that and show no promise of being able to do that next season, then I will pile on with the rest of you and call for significant changes. If they have accomplished one or the other, then I will continue to be positive. Until then I am going to continue to root for the team, the coach and celebrate every win. In my opinion that is what a fan does and I am not going to change or apologize for that, even if it ruffles some feathers on here. Go Saints!

When you hire, when you write reviews you look at someone's complete body of work. Doing so JP is a mediocre coach in both head coaching positions. D'Arg IMO is even worse. again Siena has the chance, keyword has, t return to days of glory. Defining glory, competing in the title game of the league, competing in the dance or NIT, if your a realist you'll understand it won't be every year or 2.
If you read what the so called complainers seek is exactly that. One game, Bryant, what in the low 300's is not a win to hang your season on. The ones satisfied with this product, good for you, your nothing but followers, just go along to get along. Basically your not competitive. Typical SmallAlbany.

This thread is titled fireable offense, right? That's absurd. I'm with Hoopdad on this - every perceived negative stimulus is a fireable offense to some here, and it's as ridiculous as both ends of the insane media spin that every week would have you believe that Trump is about to be impeached, or the smoking gun on Hillary has finally been found, and their gonna "Lock her up!". Complete and utter nonsense, on both sides.
Fact is, the wild spin on this board is all on the "fire Jimmy" side. If you say I don't consider the facts, you're delusional. The fact is this: Nobody on this board, and I mean NOBODY, in any recent timeframe, has come out and argued that Jimmy is the right guy to coach our Saints to the promised land. Even Papi, who was the first to be deemed a "fluffer", is not in this camp; he's just indifferent.
You all choose to see any kind of reasoned response to a game that may include some positive feedback to be "fluffing"? Give me a break.

Do I think he’ll get fired for it- no person that should be fired for it is Darg..LOL ( and no he won’t be either) Anyway JP says a lot of crazy stuff and often puts his foot in his mouth. Very divisive head coach and when you are slightly below 500 after almost 5 years, it’s not a real smart tactic. Another point of this board is to blow off steam. We had a game thread- yet the Jimmy lovers felt obligated to interrupt this thread. No matter what your thoughts on Jimmy, it was a pretty dumb comment on his part

I thought the thread title was tongue and cheek much in the same way most of our HC’s comments are open mouth insert foot.

The problem with attacking Patsos's comment is....
that its true.
Despite the history of the program, it has been managed into obscurity / low D1 status

Come on guys and gals...can't we stop this bickering and show some compassion for Jimmy and his crippling disability...diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of the brain

It is what it is, if you accept that fact and stop believing Siena is above all the others in the maac and all other schools in one bid conferences you might be able to handle wins and losses better. Take what Monmouth did the past two seasons, if the maac couldn't get two bids with what they did, they never will. Thankfully Siena won the bid with Fran's teams. Regular season champions go to NIT conference winner goes to NCAA tournament same as the AE, Patriot, and NEC and all other one bid conferences. Let's stop the bitching until the contract is expired or a change is made.

the MAAC has been the epitome of mid-major. Ranked anywhere from 13-18 with regularity. If Siena was what use to be a typical Siena team, the maac would be ranked right around 17/18 this year.
