Much ado about nothing - his verbal incontinence leads to many head scratchers, some of them funny, some of them nauseating. Applying a strictly literal interpretation is fairly silly.
I mean, how much on the same level are we when we beat them by 19 on their court?
He pissed me off big time in his post game analytics when Horn was getting some well deserved love from one of the top 11 broadcast teams in the MAAC and JP had to regurgitate "Hold on now lets not make him all world" or something to that effect - nice way to body slam one of the players that gave you a win on their own....
One can only imagine the "fans" response if the Saints had squeaked out a win or lost. All I can say is that as one of the 50 plus Siena fans at the game I enjoyed seeing the team overcome severe foul trouble and get contributions from guys like Smithen and Horn.
There is a contingent on here, that will not be happy with JP no what the circumstances are. If the Saints some how knock off Memphis on Wed. there were be "fans" on here knocking our HQ for something he did or did not do, said or did not said, etc.

That’s right if JP’s teams performed like a Dean, Hewitt, or Fran team we wouldn’t be happy. 😜

Yeah I’d like to see this happen just so we can find out.

And there’s a contingent on here that are nothing but Patsos fluffers toeing the party line. If you think that $hit today resembled D1 basketball you’ve been brainwashed and desensitized after watching almost 8 years of crap.
Seriously i had to turn it off. Something I’ve NEVER EVER done!!!!!!!

I did not say that, in fact if you read my other posts you will see that I said that today's opponent was one of the worse D1 teams and this game was what it was.... a win against a very bad team. No fluffing here. The is another contingent on here, that lives in reality and does not overplay Siena Basketball and JP to one extreme or the other, who reacts to games and statements for what they are, not overacting and blowing things out of proportion each and every time and without prejudice, the way most people typically want to be judged. Unfortunately we seem to be a minority on here.

You overlook that this isn’t a “one-off” this is Jimbo’s MO.
Jimbo now has an almost 5 year track-record here at Siena what you see is what you get ... he ain’t changin’
So if you like boarderline D2 basketball, a coach that opens mouth serves foot, no leadership and poor coaching/recruiting...he’s your man! Enjoy.

There have been no good circumstances surrounding JP’s tenure so how the hell would you know? What don’t you get? He is a bum ass coach doing the bare minimum to keep a paycheck.
No one would be critical of the fat lunatic if he actually won an up game like Memphis every now and then or a MAAC championship on his home court or even started a regular above 500 halfway through it — you JP apologists need a bridge.

Do you even read the posts of the people that you try to attack on here and spew your crap at? My posts have nothing to do with what you are coming at me with. Go pick on someone else on here. I am not interested in playing your games or responding to your closed minded rants. How about just addressing today's game which is what this thread is about? How about calling out some positives of today's game? A 19 point win on the road, a 54 point bench scoring performance, 42-21 advantage rebounding advantage, a 20-5 margin in second chance points. How about being positive and hoping the team can build on this win and continue to get better?

Typical when confronted with fact you respond with deflection.

Nice try, I just provided you the facts, the facts of today's game and the topic of this post. Stick to the facts, stick to the topic of the post.
This is the world a lifer mediocre 500 coach it’s always going to be divisive environment. Siena needs to cut its losses and find a winner, a unifier. Eight years of losing is now taking its toll!
