Fire John D'Argenio and JP. Period. I'm not sure what waiting until the end of the season does for anyone.

Drain the swamp for interim Coach Watson and Coach Abe and only if he won't be a JP clone, Coach Manning. Got to get rid of D'Arg as well.
Avoid the cat calls at the TU.
Make his rivalry games his last games as HC at Siena.
With the Albany game being his last home game and the Vermont game being his last game as the Siena Head Coach.
Fire the AD, HC, and if needed be, the Asst HC now.
If you go 1-8 against those two teams and 17-17 with a Senior Dominated team with (4) 1000pt scorers and an underclassman who "was" on his way to Siena greatness before JP got in his head last year, he doesn't deserve to coach this team this year in the MAAC.
They should have alk been gone before the year started.
Drain the Swamp. Let Cashman run the program on the side as a hobby.

Salaries of Siena head coaches since 2003, includes incentives and benefits per 990 forms in thousands:
2003 156 Lanier 2004 193 Lanier 2005 235 Fran 2006 327 Fran 2007 410 Fran 2008 428 Fran 2009 515 Fran 2010 200 Fran 265 Mitch 2011 309 Mitch 2012 318 Mitch 2013 299 Patsos, 312 Mitch 2014 435 patsos 2015 442 Patsos
Note there doesn’t appear to be any buyout for Lanier or if there was it was less than $108,000. However, Mitch was paid $312,000, roughly his full final year salary. I checked will browns contract and it has a similar clause— he would be paid up to the remaining term if fired without clause. So, it is certainly possible that patsos would be owed up to $1.3 million if fired at end of season. The most Siena has ever paid for a coach (well, 2 coaches) is $600,000, so this would be considerably more. The most it has paid one coach at a time is $500,000 is that why we called him 500 Fran? Lol.
Anyway I offer these figures up as a point of reference, just one piece of known data that is part of a much larger decision process. Admittedly without all the facts but with reasonable assumptions based on past data, it appears this is a much bigger decision this time. $2,000,000 wasted so far on patsos (including projected 2016 and 2017 figures) and counting.
However, I want the next coach to have won multiple regular season and tournament championships at the d1 level in a short period of time. I’d love it for it to happen this year, but if getting a new coach of this caliber means waiting a bit, i would do that.

In 41 years in division 1 Siena has won 6 conference tournaments and 8 regular season titles. The bulk of those coming from two coaches Deane and the beloved Fran almost 20 years apart.

Drop the pay to what other MAAC coaches that lose are paid-- and if need be move back to ARC - this longest strech of losing basketball Siena has gone thru since return to D1 in late 70's
