GB, if that is the case with Nico, AGAIN, well the chaos and for lack of a better title "high school drama" that has taken place over the last few years is as much of an indictment on JP's ability to lead this team, as is his other talents, which are sorely lacking. He seems to thrive in that environment, but does no good to the team or the product on the court. This regime has to be over. There is literally not one thing good from his 5 years here... the CBI ended up costing Siena more then they knew then (extension) "Extension"is the key word... Hope these extensions were not guaranteed... I mean Siena is stupid but they didn't guaranteed Patsos contract through 2021 did they? Nobody seems to know the buyout. If it's one year's salary or less I can't see how he survives. He is killing our beloved Siena basketball program.

Nico needs to mix up his offense. Cannot rely on the 3 and jumpers all the time. Take the ball to the hoop. If the team would get out an run a fast break once in a while that would help too. Agree he is much better when he plays within the flow of the game and does not force things. When he trusts in his team and plays as a member of a team, he and the Saints are much better offensively. If you told me going into the game that he would be limited to 7 points and the Saints would be in a position to win the game at the end and only lose by 5 I would not have believed it. I still think there is upside to this team and if they can pull it together for MAAC play, season may be interesting. He’s following the coaches directions apparently! From 25 shots a game (from the coach mouth) to limited playing time and pine seating!!! The Freshman got this..... apparently! Playing Penn 40 mins at the point hurts the guard rotation. Nico plays more 3 than he should and Smithen was benched. It appears Patsos believes Penn is the best player or at least the most valuable. And that hurts the guard rotation. Nico should be starting at the 2 and Khalil rotating in to play point at times along with Smithen.
