This line for Nico our biggest rivalry game attendance wise, let alone any game just doesn't cut it coach(Evan Fisher got 31 minutes vs. Nico''s 26...and Sammy Friday''s 15...what a joke):
...for your Captain, your teams best player, who does not even get the start, who despite your bad coaching plan, your horrible game time coaching deisions, has already in his first two years, bailed your bad coaching out on a number of occasions, who was the programs all time leading scorer after year one, is an upperclassmen on the world's youngest team according to you, who competes mentally as well as physically with the best of them, and according to you...., should be getting 25 shots a game.
25 Clareth, Nico....... FG/FGA. 3PTFG/FGA FT/FTA OR DR TR PF TP 4-8 2-5 0-0 0 3 3 3 10
A T B S MIN 2 3 0 0 26
So please just stop messing with his head coach. Please. He was not hurt. He was not in foul trouble. He was not out of shape or not hustling. Yet he does not start. He does not play during some critical times in the game. He did not get 35 plus minutes. He for whatever the reason is, just does not get the respect Marquis or Brett got, and his upside potential compared to both those players potential is so much better...so much higher.
Instead you mess with his head. You try to control him and all your players out on the court during the game way too much. You makecthem think too much rather than play too much when there needs to be a balance. You tighten them up. And when you punish them for making a mistake rather than building them, you are layer by layer, peeling away their confidence and their ability to attain the upside potential.

I love Nico, but if you are putting this all on the coach you are not watching the games. Click Clack saw it, read his comments about Nico. You know why he likes the Oduro, Fisher, and Penn. My guess is that they listen and appreciate playing on a team. My problem with the coach is that we seem to be have problems with execution. It’s could be his coaching and/or his recruiting, looks like it is both. I love Nico, he’s a very talented player, but like many kids we have seen under JP I don’t expect him to reach his potential.

If your best player doesnt start, or get 35 min a night, maybe some of you could think outside the box and figure out some other reasons why this is happening.
50/50 he finishes the season with the team. He's become that big of a distraction.

He's become that big of a distraction. This is a kid who had a phenomenal freshman year, completely neglected sophomore year after surgery. Some BS leave of absence when he just needed more time to recover. Yet still helped get the team in the semi’s. He should’ve left in April but was told he’s the senior laden among other things. Now the coach in his desperate attempts to try and get a win, he decides to play down his best player! In all essence a coach at this level should have the tools to get his team going and win some games. If he’s a distraction or so troubled why keep him another year?

It's the being a good teammate and student-athlete that might be the issue?!

He’s on top of grades, and is a team player no doubt! He’s the 1st on jumping up and down, slapping 5’s throughout game. If someone gets hurt he’s also the 1st one to get to his teammate! So, that can’t be the issue!

Well then you've answered the question. We re back to square one. Why would a coach struggling to win games, not utilize his best talent for 35 min a night? It's a mystery....

Did you notice some of Nico’s passes, or how many asst he had? Ijs the leadership is manipulative. If you have to pieces to a puzzle it shouldn’t take a real coach to figure it out! One thing for sure, Nico don’t like loosing!

He's at his best when he shares the ball and lets his shot come to him in the flow of the game. He gets in trouble when he dribbles too much one on one. He seemed to slip a lot last night too? Like maybe he had new kicks on? Ps- everyone, including the head coach, knows he's our best player. Why he isn't starting or not getting 35 min a night is a question that still is unanswered, but it's certainly not because of his talent.

If you have all the pieces of a puzzle it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to put it together! Those turnovers didn’t help last night! But he hustles hard for the game of basketball. The mind games should be left for the mind readers!

Thinking outside the box....get rid of coach....start Nico....play Nico 35 minutes....set up a defensive game plan based on your opponents weaknesses....and then just let your best player....and all of your 8-9-10 best players on this particular team....just play....to the game plan....in rythm...without micro managing every offensive set.

he did fall on his face like 5 times while attempting to do too much with the ball. He has had a number of AWFUL turnovers this year.
The issue is Clareth is a role player on a good team. Hes a star on a Patsos team. I guess thats one way a coach can make a player a star...
