What the hell is going on around here? Remember at Woodstock they were saying the "brown acid is bad"? Maybe it resurfaced on this and the other recent thread.

Me keep up? lmao I told you this a month ago and you said I was wrong? If you want to "keep up," just "listen up." You were wrong. Yes he must earn his mins at the 2 but Richard came to Siena to play the 1. He knows what his strengths are and chose a school that fit his needs. Things changed after he got here. I see you just like to argue. Patsos stated his plan and it does not include Richard playing much. So why cant you just leave it alone. The two freshmen will compete to start at the point. This case is closed. I was wrong about what? Richard NOT being the PG? lol You were standing by that prediction for weeks. YOU were wrong. Everyone can see it, and yes NOW the case is closed. I said Penn would be the starting PG. That prediction is still alive and well, and be assured, I'll remind you about it in November. You already lost because you were wrong. We dont need you to admit it. It's out here in black and white.

Shivers will see time at both the 3 and 4. Patsos has to adapt to the team he has. He's had a lot of good bigs at Siena and even before that at Loyola, but doesn't have that this year. All the bigs are unproven, but we have a talented set of guards. Almost all the MAAC teams have weak or non-existent 4 men. Our defense would actually probably be better with going small. It will be interesting to see if Shivers plays any time at 4? I could be wrong but in his 13 years in MAAC, I never remember Patsos playing ‘small” Shivers is very small for the 4. While we don’t have any proven big men, same could be said about Guards with only Nico having avg more than 4ppg in D1. Looks to me like Oduro and Degan will get majority of time at 4 and 5- with left over time going to Fisher and Friday. Not sure about Huerter if he is strong enough to give us min at 4- he has the size. Then you have Richard, looks like he can score, while he didn’t avg much, when he had opportunity to play he did show ability to put ball in hoop. Coaches always like guys with experience – fans always hope for the best from freshmen. At end of the day I’m guessing Richard is in playing group- as well as Fisher I don't think it will be a ton of time, but I think 5-10 minutes for Shivers at the 4 will at least be tried out. I think Degnan plays about 25 minutes, Oduro 5-10, and Shivers 5-10 at the 4 depending on matchups. Against Iona for instance, we almost HAVE to play Shivers at the 4. Degnan or Oduro isn't going to be able to guard EJ Crawford or Roland Griffin. Then center time gets split with Oduro 15-20, Fisher 10, Friday 10. I know we don't have proven guards but from what everything I've been personally told they are the strength of our team. Shivers is going to probably triple his scoring output from last season, and I think we need to get creative in getting Richard and/or Horn on the floor as another guy who can create his own shot and hit 3's.

I just want to apologize for my last post i got off subject.Nothing personal only PPC lol i don't have a guy only the whole Siena men's basketball. We can play small and yes the guards are inexperienced at the d1 level but if the coach says they're game ready we have to believe that the Canada trip will help Alabama played Mcgill one of the team's on the schedule

As for Penn starting that would be your prediction and the result will be a fact.

Playing someone just 10 mins per game is not PT that will make them stay. There will be 7 playing significant mins. The others will come in and be yanked back out. If you enter the game 5x only playing for 2 min each time you will record 10 mins total but did not get a chance to do anything to earn more time. Richard will barely see the floor if you give the freshmen pgs mins at the 2. If Friday only plays 10 mpg I doubt he returns. And D wants to play the 4 not the 5 and there are alot of mins for him there. I can see Shivers playing some 4 but he will mostly play the 3 and Nico the 2. Sure you can try and switch it up based on the matchup but Patsos will always fall back to size at every position.

This thread is a National Bureau of Standards quality example of what metastasizing cancer cells do as they spread - repeat, repeat, repeat, nausea, repeat, repeat, repeat, .... PPC is attacking what's left of the Siena Men's Basketball DNA string hoping to plant the "Richard will transfer" mutation stimulus early enough to infect the season so she can both say she was "Wright" and that Siena took an immediate downturn when LL graduated - only thing that makes sense

This place is hard enough to read without someone pouring gasoline on a dwindling fire. PPC was right that Richard came here to play the point and might not be happy if he's only playing the 2. HJ was right that Penn had already beaten Richard out for the point guard position. Both can admit they were right about that, neither is going to admit they were wrong about anything so let's all just move on.

Both can admit they were right about that, neither is going to admit they were wrong about anything so let's all just move on. First of all get this straight it's not a hobby. Second, there are many of us that are sick of her crap and this constant beating of the drum that Richard will transfer. I trust I don't have to explain to you that it is not good for the team or for him. Unless there is a clause in Richard' contract that says "Point Guard" all bets are off once the kid hits campus and dons a practice uni. Now go focus your negotiating "skills" on getting her to agree to move on...HJ doesn't have to say anything more as Penn's position will be evident on day one - even to her...have a great day....
