Pretty obviously Nico and Quis could not function together. I was hoping that was not the case but apparently is was. Two years ago Siena was playing great with Nico leading the way when Quis was out and stumbled down the stretch with a rusty Wright. Last year Wright played pretty well when Nico went on sabbatical. Well it is all Nico's team now. He needs to be reigned in and play team ball. If he does he might be the most talented player in the MAAC. It's up to Jimmy to get everyone of the same page - something he could not do with Nico and Quis.

I have never been a fan of blowing things up on my way out the door. Many many people spend their lives doing it.
Sent from my SM-G900P using proboards

I couldn't agree more. Lets get over the bull now and look forward. The past wont change so can we focus on the great run we had at the end of last year and what our captain is going to do for us? He is quite possibly the most athletic player we have ever had and wants to lead our team. I'll take a waiver, your crazy not to. Someone else will take your seats if you don't want team. Shut up and let our little Angel do his magic

I am also surprised at Marquis burning up the bridge after graduation... Never a great idea.... Also surprised there was that much tension there

This year I will drop my regular season tickets and buy the 70 dollar special season tickets or just cherry pick games- haven't decided yet. Unfortunately the only thing Darg and Siena admin understand is when season tickets, premium tickets and donations go down- that's what it took to get rid of Beyer, Lanier and Mitch.

That team along with the staff was classic dysfunction junction last season! Patsos creates most of the issues by trying to be everyone's buddy (how'd that work for Rex Ryan), players need a leader, guidance and a firm defined set of rules to follow. Not saying you need to be a dictator, but Patsos sure as hell let the inmates run the asylum last year.

PPC - I appreciate your comments and perspective but I really wish you stayed on the highroad here. I have heard repeatedly, from friends with kids at Siena, that both Lavon and Quis are good kids. I wish them both the best and would really prefer this thread to stay on topic of Quis' perspective as it relates to JP - this topic already places the program in a bad light and it only goes downhill from here....

Lavon has nothing to do with this. The article is about Wright. He decided to do this. I am commenting along with everyone else. I knew about this already.

He is quite possibly the most athletic player we have ever had...., Whoa! What? Define "athletic". Did you watch the U-Albany Game last year where Clareth tried to block a shot and ended up jumping so high that he close lined himself against the backboard....he had his whole arm on the glass...Hes only 6'5"....hes explosive, quick, and shifty. Watch the highlights at the end of the Monmouth game where he made a baseline jumper, creating space and fading away from the hoop all on one leg. He definitely needs to fine tune his game because he is not overly skilled yet, but in terms of athleticism he is up there. What's your definition of Athletic?

Oh yeah. Nico is one of the best athletes for sure. You see it real fast when he goes up for those blocks. And off the bounce he has most of the moves in the book.
And it sounds like he's almost never really been fully healthy for us.

Yeah, I always wondered why Nico and Wright could not get along. Makes sense now.
Maybe this new group surprises us this year. If not, well, Jimmy might want to pack his bags.
