People on this board don't just make Willy nilly statements...we react to facts...the old action/reaction...how would those that support everything that Patsos does like us to react...any negative action by someone that represents Siena is a reflection on all those that are a part of the Siena family...should laziness be tolerated...should phantom handshakes be praised...and should a lack of basketball common sense be tollerated with no comment...I am against going after the players but tell me just how I should react to Patsos's stupidity

No biggie- I just wish he was as passionate about recruiting as he is about complaining about Siena and Siena fans . Jimmy knew when he took this job that 500 wasn't going to get it done. 1-7 vs Albany and Vermont isnt getting it done. Don't know what his record is vs top 3 or 4 in the MAAC- but I assume it's a losing record- this is his 5th year- he has bigger things to worry about than Siena fans on a message board-- and hint to Jimmy it isnt just message board fans- have several friends who are long time Siena season ticket holders who either dropped last year or are dropping season tickets this year. It's a business Jimmy!! Winning is important, recruiting is the lifeblood- not taking March to September off each year Tony i dropped mine this year. been going for a long time.....

Does anyone honestly believe that the Siena head job is not, far and away, the most difficult one in the MAAC? The past success, the fanbase, the collateral requirements etc....Think Dunne has to do the same things at St Peters as any of our head coaches have done here? I'd like to see a top 5 hardest HC jobs, in order.....no excuses, just think we re the Yankees of the MAAC. I agree 100%....that is why the hiring process is so critical. Didn't see a lot of process this time, I think many would agree.

To the victor go the spoils and here we are. He knew what he was getting into, as a matter of fact the fans were one of his talking points of what made this a great job. TUC, fans, traditions blah blah blah. Now that the expectations are reality they should be tempered or lowered yearly to benefit JP and not those who indirectly pay his salary? Please, he makes a good buck to deal with his critics. Hit the ignore button if you don't like what you read here JP.

Would anyone like to apologize for their rhetoric on sienahoops?! Maybe some of you can apologize to Father Coughlin! I'm sure he would accept it. 😊

Absolutely correct he knew exactly what he was getting when he took the job. It's five years later stop whining about Mitch's mess. Rex's recruiting is killing him, he's lucky Mitch left him the players he did... this is Rex's mess it's FIVE years after the fact. Own it. Good coaches win, bad ones whine......I see the excuse wagon is hitched up, loaded with bullishit and rolling down hill!

The article only references an extremely sub set of the actual message board, not the entire message board as the original tweeter posted/implied. The entire message board (more than half don't even post). Attendance at games still has over 3,500 "season ticket holders " in year # five (from a high, of what, 4K).
Maybe the ones complaining on this thread are the ones he's referencing. I know for a fact he's not referencing me. I told him and others that I'm a Siena fan regardless of who's the coach, players, admin, etc.. Regardless of wins & losses. I'm just here to support my favorite team.
