Would anyone like to apologize for their rhetoric on sienahoops?! Maybe some of you can apologize to Father Coughlin! I'm sure he would accept it. 😊 I will when you can explain why you defend jimmy all the time. And "because he's my husband" is not a valid answer. And go

I was a little offended when I saw this article the other day. I consider myself knowledgeable about basketball and try not to be argumentative when I post.
I've been here on this board for a long time, and I have watched his teams played since he's been here. It's not consistent, just like his record.
I was furious last year when we played Asheville in Asheville and Vermont at the TUC in December last year. Both performances were pathetic- you had 1,000 four point scorers. That's just not good management.
I'll keep supporting the kids. I'll support him until his last day in Loudonville. We have no excuses not to be good anymore. Practice Facility on campus. Great campus. Good main arena. Practice courts which could be feet away from the main arena (Capital Center).
Seriously, imagine if Vermont/Iona had these resources? No one would stop them- the coach would not have to try so hard to sell Vermont/Iona. But winning attracts good players, now doesn't it?
----------
Dear Miss Wyland Lynch-
If you do read this board, I was not one of those loud and obnoxious drunks at Daps when I attended Siena College. I was a Honors student who went to class, participate in many extra curricular activities such as drama and music, and was inducted into the AKA (Siena College's highest Honor Society) but I did mess up a few times as a student. I'm not perfect, and I'm not going to pretend you are.
I remain anonymous because I do not like displaying my real name on internet. Not exactly cybersafe either this day of age and I prefer to separate leisure and business. That's my preference.
If you would like to discuss more and want to know my real name, please direct message me.
Sincerely,
Diamonddog

I too think we have/had talent to win more than we did. It's just that I'll never stop soppirtung (in every way) or stop rooting for my favorite team. I just cannot do that. If I ever do, then if would only come at the cost of funding a new favorite team. Since I graduated from Siena; the day I stop being a Siena fan will most likely never come. I simply find it counter productive, for me (as I know it's not impossible for others) to ever not support my favorite team. I find it more frustrating, again to me, when I see other Siena fans being so critical of the team, coach, admin, etc. and gets me defensive. Hence, why I continue to post what I post. I'm letting the school, teams, coaches, players, admin, Siena fans, etc. I'm still here for them in spite of everything that's happening (good/bad).

HJ, was MTS correct when he said Jimmy's further extended years came with no guaranteed money? I ma guessing they just didn't increase his buyout. Makes no sense for him if that is not the case. I don't know anything about his contract.

Sounds like you'd pick him up at the airport!

Sounds like you'd pick him up at the airport! I understand, I may be in the minority of the unconditional support of one's favorite teams. I'm not as unconditionally supportive of my other favorite teams (KC Royals, MN Vikings, Boston Crltucs & Chicago Blackhawks) but still put up with their loosing as well better than most of their fans. There's a distinction between my sports fandom versus putting up with others, companies, organizations, etc. I haven't a clue who that guy is, so I'm not at all remotely a fan of him (simply because he graduated from Siena). I'm neither for nor against the NRA. I guess I'm neutral; if people want guns maybe they should be allowed to get them; if people are opposed to guns, they have the right to be opposed. If I were a "fan" of that individual or the organization then maybe I'd be closer to the example you provided, but I'm not a fan nor oppose either of them. My level of fandom for Siena strictly applies to Siena (college & its sports programs/teams). Maybe if the teachers/friars/coaches/players all started committing crimes, or worse, then maybe I'd have to rethink my level of fandom. However, simply not liking how some do their job (based on my or others' standards) won't preclude me from my fandom. They'd have to do much worse. Again, this is just me; others can still root/support however they want or feel they need to do. I just can't, it's counterproductive to me. I guess, I'm just not wired correctly or something, because it bothers me more as to how critical some fans are versus the actual items they're critical of with what the coaches/admin/players are doing.

Would anyone like to apologize for their rhetoric on sienahoops?! Maybe some of you can apologize to Father Coughlin! I'm sure he would accept it. 😊 He's not a "Father"; not a priest. It's Brother Ed.

I hate when know nothing "journalists" attack fans...those "anonymous creeps" are the lifeblood on the program. Why not just call us a basket of "deplorables"?
Patsos is a lazy recruiter and coach as he jet-sets around the world... he's a grifter and then has the balls to call of the fan-base? I'm done with this fool. I will root hard for the kids and hope we surprise a lot of people but I will be very happy when Patsos is finally fired.

Don’t worry about it- For Jimmy to “attack” fans, he must know the end is near. Think about it- when has a coach at any level ever attacked his home town fans and had it work out well for him? Lanier attacked this message board how did it work out for him? Mitch attacked this message board how did it work out for him? I’m guessing we have more bad news coming – Either someone is leaving ( again) or Prince isn’t making it( hearing there might still be some issues despite what a local reporter tweeted)
