Well all years of hateful "rhetoric" finally cought up to sienahoops. The only thing worse is some political blogs! Do you think other coaches don't notice?! Will Brown noticed. It made his day.

Honestly, I thought this was a funny comment and mostly true. We fans will never be satisfied, we always want more. During Fran year's we wanted Sweet 16's and moves up to the A10. Now we want to get to the NCAA's every year. That's not Siena fans, it's all fans of higher-level mid-majors. Iona fans complain that they can't win NCAA games, Monmouth fans complain that they didn't make the NCAA, etc. The diehards like us always want more. Should we be satisfied with what we've seen the last four years? No. Should we act like they were a failure? Also no. We need to support this young team that may take some lumps early and hope they can carry us back to the Big Dance in the next 2 years. You are not a "higher-level mid-major"

"cought" - "is" - what would "other coaches" notice and what would they care? Now an English teacher would definitely notice those "items"!

When Blum tweeted he would be doing a story on "message board fans" I expected Jimmy to complain about how he and his wife were being sometimes treated here. I could have understood that to some point but his comments were about performance and expectations, items that are fair game for any coach. He could have defended his record but instead played the drama card and again mentions " his " national championship. Not sure how he thought this would help his standing with the fan base. It sure doesn't incite any sympathy.

Did Pastos really get another contract extension as stated, "Last summer, Patsos signed a two-year contract extension that lengthened his current deal through the 2020-21 season", in the Troy Record article?

Yeah, I don't think he's quite on the hot seat as much as some people think. I don't think this would be his last year no matter what happens. They probably aren't going to eat 3 years these days.

You are not a "higher-level mid-major" By attendance Siena certainly is, by performance on the court they certainly are not. I think the most exasperating part of this all is that Jimmy has coached exactly six good players during his time at Siena and three of them (Poole, Bisping, and Ogunyemi) were actually inherited from Mitch. Yet he's complaining about what a mess he took over five years later.

He's only owed one year of salary after this year...those years added after the 15-16 had no guaranteed money (I am 100% sure this is the case). Had he had only one year left instead of two I think he'd already be gone. A lot of people in the administration don't like what goes on behind the scenes. I have a feeling this is it barring a championship season. Even if Siena is around .500 the well is too poisoned with the fan-base. They'll work something and he'll be sent packing. You can't alienate your fans.

Well if he's gone like you said no reason to recruit and no reason to complain about him recruiting just let him play out the year and everyone who doesn't like him stop complaining and post positives about the program and the kids here.If you say your a Siena fan do that stop name calling and be a true fan Go Saints

Yet he's complaining about what a mess he took over five years later. He had Hymes and Oliver too. So he was left with 4 ultimate 1,000 pt scorers (who all were recognized on some kind of all-MAAC team in their careers) plus 1 deity of legend. Seems not so bad at all. The real issue is that aside from Wright, Long, and Clareth...his first 3 recruiting classes all left or are named Evan Fisher. White, Wolfe, Cole Paige, WB, Gottfried Wormley, LaRose, Fisher That's likely 9 failures/departures vs just 3 successes in the first 3 recruiting classes. Can't blame Mitch for that. Put a little more effort in and get 5 successes and it's probably a different ballgame altogether.

Siena’s Jimmy Patsos rips ‘message board’ fans: ‘I’m not going to value (their opinion)’ Sounds like Jimmy needs a vacation...... or a Snickers bar. First he needs to stop biting the hands that feed his inflated salary. Results. Period. "Inflated salary?" $300k is inflated for the best program in the MAAC? Better check out FF and Quinnys HC's salaries.

HJ, was MTS correct when he said Jimmy's further extended years came with no guaranteed money? I ma guessing they just didn't increase his buyout. Makes no sense for him if that is not the case.
