Holy Shit this game. I've been pretty apathetic all season, really underwhelmed by the team and by JP, didn't watch many games, went to one at the TUCd. I was able to sneak away at work tonight and catch the last few minutes of the game tonight. Holy Shit. This is what Siena basketball is all about. Exciting. Reminded me of my first Siena game I saw in person, Siena vs Marist, 2010 MAAC Semis. Just so much energy and excitement. I don't remember hearing the TUC that loud since 2010. That's what started my love for this program and tonight's win reminded me of that love once again. I'm making the trip from Syracuse tomorrow night for the Championship, and hope to see the 10k+ and those goddamn black curtains GONE!

I won't be back until Patsos is fired. Best of luck to graduating seniors. Nobody who is a fan will miss you. Aren't you the same "hankla" who is constantly bitching about some posters turning positive threads into negative ones? Just sayin',,,, I guess some folks just get their kicks using the "I told you so!" phrase.

How about we all agree to support Siena today! No pissing matches or negative crap! Let's go SAINTS! For once, you have said something significant that all should agree with. I went through this exact thing in 2002 on a much deeper level of involvement. Everyone needs to be backing this team tonight. The animosities and concerns about the program need to be set aside for the duration of the season. There will be plenty of debate to be had in the future, I am sure.

That was the (loudest)5500 crowd I've ever heard at the tuc and the best performance by a Siena player in such an important game that I have ever seen. The only big game I missed was the Stanford game.I could not imagine what Nico was feeling when the Siena faithful were chanting NICO CLARETH!NICO CLARETH!These Saints are playing at the level I have been hoping for so lets show up tonight and cheer our Saints on to victory. Also please, for just one day keep your negative comments to yourself; Please.GO SAINTS!!

What was the attendance for the game. Why mention it so someone can dispute it? No,not at all. I am a Siena alum, love the school and the team. I am very concerned about the drop in attendance.

A lot of fun just reading through this whole thread. Great win and great time at the TUC, one more to go.

What did he say?

He said 1. Stop complaining that Monmouth blew a 15 point lead and it was there own fault ( not really home court advantage) and 2. That of course the MAAC is playing the tourney in Albany for money because it draws and that is what college basketball is about, money. They were debating whether or not they should make the tournament in a one bid league benefit the best team in hopes of placing them in the real tourney
