Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Greatest, and gutsiest performance Ive ever seen in a game. I was mad about Jimmy putting a kid that hurt in the game when it looked bleak. I thought he was putting his job in front of the kids health. What Nico did was unreal, and I'm happier than anyone we win the game, but not at the expense of hurting a kid even more. After seen how poorly he moved in the first half (Jimmy made 5 or 6 guard subs after that-no Nico) it made sense to hold him out. I wanna win as bad the next guy. But not at any cost. I don't disagree with any of what you say here. Like I had just posted, not trying to be critical. I was just reading through the posts chronologically and this one made me literally laugh out loud. It's really funny to read through the arc of the emotions during a game with this unlikely plot line. Did anyone else notice on Nico's turnaround two pointer his right foot never even touched the ground? Insane shot. He played an insane game.

What happened to Lavon tonight? I know he had the early fouls, but no offense out of him tonight. Good thing is that the Saints won anyway. Lavon should have a great night tomorrow! Lavon did a great job on JR early and made a few strong and smart plays down the stretch. Doesn't show-up in the stats book but made an impact nonetheless - at least in my opinion. Now I hope that he feels like he didn't perform enough and kills it tomorrow night!!! :-)

Than you Click. Go Danes!!! You're kidding right? This clown came out here last night and all he did was make of our team and our fans. Now we win this huge game and he's our friend?! Lol. See him for what he is IS. A troll that is infatuated with our program. We re always on his mind....always. It's sad. I'm in a good mood tonight.

It's a sprained ankle, right? It's all about pain tolerance. He'll be sore as hell tomorrow but guarantee the kid would not trade the memory of tonight for anything. I had someone close to the situation tell me if it was the regular season, he misses 2 weeks. He played on it in 3 days.

sienasaints"This is everything right here. After all this hard work. We got one more....and we've got five more after that." - Nico Clareth "They have a competitive nature just like us. We went 1-2 against them this year but we won when it counted" - Marquis Wright

This game reminded me of Siena's comeback over Loyola in the 2008 MAAC semifinals down 17. But much more unlikely. This time Jimmy Patsos was on the winning end!
Hope St. Peter's and Iona play deep into the night....probably match-up better with SPU but either will be very tough.

Jps handling of nico this season could turn his entire career around. I'm going to assume that he was clear to play -- often with these types of injuries you are unlikely to injure it further, it's about managing pain. Regardless of what happens going forward nico is on my list of all time saints.

In the words of Justin Robinson's father after the 20 point blowout ... the game tonight was "SICK" ... Go Saints!

Judging from his rebounding and jumping chest bumps with MW not so sure how serious his ankle injury is. No question he played a monster game, but so did the rest of the team. LL wasn't an offensive presence but played solid defense esp on Robinson and the game is played on both ends of the floor. Let's root for SPU who is happy to play a 70 point methodical game, I like Siena's chances much better against them than Iona.

From a guy who sprained his ankles plenty of times, it isn't the jumping that hurts, it is the side to side. He was very limited laterally. Monmouth blew it by not taking advantage more that a couple of times.

I'm still shocked.
He couldn't move. They just kept...going...in.
And then Monmouth...they got sloppy. I ..have..no words.

As the Scooter would say "Holy Cow!" I can't believe all the emotions I ran through. I was hopeful at the start, became angry as we fell behind at the half; became almost despondent when we got behind by 17, became hopeful again when Nico hit 3 after 3 and then ecstatic at the end. What a game!

Clareth was the catalyst for sure, but Wright with 8 assists and 10 points in the second half was huge as well. And JO finally played strong for the most part. Perfect example of what momentum and chemistry can do for a team.
