VERBAL COMMITS: 2019 Glens Falls (NY) G Joseph Girard III has received an offer from Siena.…What are the odds of an early commit
Extra tidbit on Twitter: On a day he receives an offer from Siena, @jg3_____ scored 40 points to lead Glens Falls to a 105-71 win over Bishop Maginn.

Yeah, he'll end up the all-time NYS scoring leader.

Yeah, he'll end up the all-time NYS scoring leader. what is your take on him? .................I have had some legit folks say he can flat out score, but that they are not sure how that translates to defending D1 faster/stronger athletes, and apparently he has shown to have a bit of an attitude problem...............still he has a few more yrs to develop, and perhaps going prep route would be a better barometer of where he might really fit best, rather than stay at GFalls.........

He nut project fairly well if Michigan and Cuse are entertaining him already you do realize that any kid to show he has prolific shooting is going to draw attention from the big boys.......those power schools cannot afford to overlook anyone...........and not saying this is the case, but they leverage themselves with many many quality players, so they just want to make sure they are covered in case a kid really blows up.......just sayin'.............

Correct and we are told Wojo is a prolific shooter yet he has no interest or offers as a sophomore or schools like Michigan having him visit as a junior

I wouldnt get too excited about the Syracuse and Michigan "interest" at this point. Girards Dad Joe played for Beilein at LeMoyne and are still close, so that is the kids dream school. He's not at that elite level.....yet. Syracuse is a farm system for the City Rocks, so getting some attention from the Orange at this point is nice, but not real surprising.
Wojo's HS in Northern Calif. is far superior to Glens Falls, so I'm guessing he doesnt get 20+ shots a night for his team. Since he's already committed now, he shouldn't be getting any offers. I haven't seen Wojo play this year, so I cant comment on how "good" he is at this point. I understand the fans being relunctant buying stock on a kid with connections to the JP/Loyola family, but lets wait and see.
Same for Girard. I haven't seen him this year, but I like his game. Shooting the 3 is so important nowadays, who knows what level he'll wind up at? I do think he needs to grow a couple inches to play on the BCS level. He's easily Mid-major right now, and can improve/grow enough, it's def possible for the kid to get a big time scholarship, just on his shooting alone.

So bottom line is Girard isn't really that good and Wojo will surprise greatly. I agree on Girard size as I was next to him at TUC and he right around 6-0

He's a sophomore in HS. He's got a long way to go. Wojick looks solid, but I've never seen him live. I don't think he's Cam, but he's no savior either. Recruits in '19 are the least of our problems right now! lol
