Until they win one road game I don't see how they could finish higher than 5th. I agree.

Not sure if my memory is accurate but did someone once post that jimmy rarely has the team practice free throws? If that's accurate he says in his presser that "anyone who knows me knows that I want to get to the foul line". If my memory is accurate it's another example of bad leadership. He's referencing getting the ball to the foul line in a players hands as his offensive strategy, not getting to the foul line to shoot free throws. "Get the ball at the foul line, create two's, get them in foul trouble and go from there" was his quote. That worked well Jim. I'm pretty sure he said the team does practice free throws in practice, but I don't think this group is fully committed to them outside of practice (I could be wrong). The overall point is I agree the body language during the games is not good, I think they are drained--- that's what four years of ball under this "leader" seems to do to a person. The ceiling under this coach is top 3 or four in the Maac, a cbi run here or there, perhaps a 15 seed in the tourney once a decade or so. It's up to the admin as to whether this is what they want or not.

Is there anyone besides me that believes that Pastos playing Lavon at the point is a joke? ZERO assists for the game. Wright should go back to the point and Clareth should be starting. Also what is wrong with Smithen? I was hoping he would be more of a contributor than he has been.

Lavon is a capable replacement at PG for a rest or a short change of pace, but I believe we are not using Wright's best talents by not having him there most of the time. Plus not using Lavon's best skills to our advantage.

Jumbo has turned our lineup into a positional Rubik's cube - keep moving the pieces and maybe, just maybe, it will solve itself....

I'll be even better supporter next year- if this coach is back I'll drop my regular season tickets and cherry pick games next year It is tough bc I don't want to give the seats up for when a real coach is hired. I also don't wanna support the recent decisions.... My wife and I have had 4 season tickets for the past 15 years and we always took a couple of kids to the games with us. This year we gave up two of the tickets because the kids grew up and went off to college so we decided to "cherry pick" games and buy the two extra tickets when needed. So far there hasn't been any problem purchasing tickets for the two seats we gave up and because they were kids tickets they only cost me $8/ea (way less than I had been paying for the season tickets). The moral of the story is, don't be afraid to give up your season tickets and "cherry pick" games. No one is flocking to the TUC to purchase Siena season tickets, especially at the prices that are being charged. The seats will be there!!! Merry Christmas

Although the Canada Red is a beautiful variety and it has the ability to change colors over the season. The leaves open green then turn maroon during the season. Easier to watch than some hoops lately.

I am a big believer in metrics and performance measures as indicators and by seeing how many new posters we have here that is not a good indicator of the health of the program. People who have never posted are coming out to vent. That's how we just got changebin our country, So So Rex is in big trouble

gohofstra.com/cumestats.aspx?path=mbball&Last holiday themed thread. Hope the board enjoyed the themes! Should be an interesting game before the holiday season. I watched them play Kentucky in Brooklyn on TV, and before they got blown out, they have some nice players at Hempstead. Gustys reminds me of WB a lot. They are a lot deeper than last year's team. Game will be on your computer- I am not sure if you have to pay to watch. (Thursday December 22nd, 7 pm) Happy Holidays! Be kind to each other- it's all we have left. (Listen to the song!) www.youtube.com/watch?v=XF9G81FzpNo Keeping with the holiday theme, last nights game was just Ho-Ho-Horrible!
