I see how it might "look" like he's being run off; but that's not what's actually happening. That's only an opinion or perception. All you have to do is simply ask WB, Jimmy or the coaching staff and they'll tell you that's not the case at all. IS your starting to sound like click, just walk up to one of the powers to be or in charge and they are going to give you an answer, that affects the program. Not how it works in the real world. Happy Thanksgiving all. Dave, I didn't simply ask one person; I've asked various admin, coaches, & players. Unless there's a conspiracy going on I can't find any evidence to support a couple peoples' opinions.

Funny - your tongue must be aching as it seems so firmly pressed against your cheek - do you really think any of the folks you mentioned would answer in any other way? OBTW, I'm not saying you are wrong in your conclusion just having some fun with the basis you used for your conclusion. MP - he is still on cloud 9 from his big thank you last night on the jumbo trim That was cool and very nice of Siena to recognize me (and my Mom). I know you're poking fun; but I really appreciated it. They didn't have to do that; it's not like I do THAT much for the school. Just a little.

I get it know, how stupid could I be for falling for the recognition. They're trying to keep me quiet and to throw me off the Siena basketball running players off conspiracy. They figured out that I was on to them with all my questions and they're trying to distract me with recognition. Now I feel like an idiot. I'll have to find a new team to support. Yes, now I'm being sarcastic!!!

Exactly. Unless every kid gets 25 min a night, he's "getting run off" lol This sin't "One on One" with Robbie Benson. These kids can stay the full 4 years if they want. 95% of them want to PLAY more. OR for THEIR own reason. No coaches are telling them they have to leave now, you're not good enough. My only beef in this area is why doesn't he get more players in the game in the first half, saving the main guys for the second half and down the stretch, especially when one of the starters gets two fouls. Obviously this was an inferior opponent but there seemed to be a better mix of players last night-- I wish the rotation worked like this in more of the games. The team seems to have more depth now that nobody is redshirting, the team is relatively healthy and the suspensions are done. The defense would be more intense for longer stretches if they were not playing in foul trouble as often.

The other guy honored wouldn't even look at the screen they had the wrong guy the first time which is why he didn't look. They got it right at the next time out.

No one is poking fun just recognizing that you made the big screen. There was no derogatory comment. Too bad you have to look for problems from a simple statement

I believe that they fully intended to be at Siena for their 4 years.

Even when the stats show that year after year these kids transfer and get recruited over. I love Siena hoops but I am realistic. No different then in business I need to keep bringing in top talent and if they bypass the people that were there first tough luck. Kids get $50K a year scholarship so they need to keep earning it no different then at bigger schools - that is the business of college basketball like it or not

When you win it's a business, when lose it's just incompetence.

Love the school, morals ethics class size they give you your monies worth , they care, as do most private institutions. But there comes a time when a revenue generating part of the school needs to be run like a business. Now I believe every kid who stays should graduate and up to the school to make sure. They play hoop, go to class and study that's it for 4 years or 5. School can come up with extra help. Coaching staff makes a mistake, ok make sure the kid get a ship somewhere else. Admin must make sure the coachs get the players. That means quit playing games with admissions, suspensions. Kid screws up you don't take him off the court , your paying him to be there, discipline him in a way he will remember. Fot the JP haters the admin got the school into this position, be through legitimate mistakes or arrogance, ego. Time for some changes.
