I hope that Brett is not going to become a Josh Duell situation going down to 10-12 min. per game. I think Tony is right and we go smaller and see more of Lavon at the 4.

Maybe I'm wrong BUT he seems to be running WB off. I don't mind when players transfer when it's mutual but this looks targeted. WB had a pretty good freshman year, better than some .... he's redshirted last year and now he's buried on the bench this year. Mind boggling! This isn't the first and won't be the last run off of this or any HC tenure. Or they leave on their own to walk on at a NEC school. If WB could play better than those who are, can't imagine Jimmy not putting him out there. Especially this year.Don't understand JP's confidence in EF but don't see anything nefarious from our Coach on WB sitting at the end of the pine like you do. Sure, WB showed some athleticism as a frosh but so did Michael Wolfe.

OK. Sure. No one has ever been run off, now or ever. Recruitment errors aren't fixed this way, now or ever. And I expect a rainbow farting unicorn under my Christmas tree.

In every program in the country at the D-1 level. It's a BUSINESS. Mens jobs are at stake. If the kid you thought could play at your level, fails to do so, it's not unusual to help them move along to a school/level where their talents are better suited. I can get you the unicorn and feed him beans, but getting him in a rainbow color might be tough.

HJ,
According to GB's post only the farts need to be rainbow color (mix in some jelly beans) the unicorn itself is of unspecified hertiage.

I think the guys getting paid six figures can figure out who to play and who to sit, not a bunch of fans watching YouTube clips of high school players.

I think he needs to go deeper into the rotation. Our D has been awful- I think part of it has to due with the players worrying about foul trouble to stay in the game and going to a matador defense if challenged near rim

My only quibble with the original post was the use of the word "often" instead of perhaps the word "sometimes". I have no idea what JP's future holds all I hope is that he is successful here.

What I am I saying is if I were him I would be looking for a new gig. Jimmy obviously doesn't think much of his game that he bury's him and plays EF more and then recruited Friday and Prince. Don't have to be a rocket scientist to get where this is going. Plus we need ships for 18 so guess where they come from Maybe I'm wrong BUT he seems to be running WB off. I don't mind when players transfer when it's mutual but this looks targeted. I see how it might "look" like he's being run off; but that's not what's actually happening. That's only an opinion or perception. All you have to do is simply ask WB, Jimmy or the coaching staff and they'll tell you that's not the case at all.

Funny - your tongue must be aching as it seems so firmly pressed against your cheek - do you really think any of the folks you mentioned would answer in any other way? OBTW, I'm not saying you are wrong in your conclusion just having some fun with the basis you used for your conclusion.
