I don't know if you realize this but that ratio of 1.138 points per shot would have put us at 10th in the league in offense. Siena, who shot the least amount of threes in the league, was 1st at 1.33 PPS. So, your analysis could use some work. Lol. And here's a few more decimals to throw at you for good measure: . . . . . . . . mic drop.

Anybody concerned that Nico's knee stiffened and he only had 1 pt. in the 2nd half? I think it was more fatigue than anything else.............remember that play where he was called for the over the back bogus foul (total BS), Nico jump a foot higher than the Cornell player on the floor..............not sure a quirky knee would allow him to do that..............also think he was going half speed on many plays, again that fatigue factor was evident!!!!!!!!!!!

Sure. Cornell needed JO on the bench to have any chance to win, so they took the game to him, and put it in the hands of the refs. Good strategy, it worked. They were whistle happy. Like I said, EF (6'9" 230) blocks about 1 shot every 100 minutes of playing time, so getting him in the game for JO would open up the lane for a team forced into playing a smaller group because they were missing their two bigs. And why did JO end up in foul trouble, because the guards did not keep the Big Red guards from attacking the rim. We can do this all day. You guys are making way too much of this one game (that they won by double digits). Cornell plays a princeton type offense that is difficult to prepare for and defenses need to be ever vigilant against all of the screening, motion and back cuts. As Grazulis said, the freshman guards were reactive rather than confidently playing the defensive scheme. IMO we will see this style of offense more often than not this year since it has proven to be successful against us the last few years(either finish at rim or foul) so we better figure out how to better defend it.

I didn't realize the series with Cornell was not getting renewed. If you caught JPs comments in the presser he stated they were going in different directions and the series would end.

If you can't see that Evan hurts us defensively, I can't help you with that. And I didn't come up with that observation after one game. Getting WB involved in our big man rotation will pay off down the road. Just like he should have given Kinnon all of Cams minutes last year. He may have helped us in the MAAC tourney and still be here. That kid would have helped this team and we didn't do enough to get him involved. I would hate to see that happen to WB.

Yeah, Jimmys buddy got fired at Cornell, so that series was going to go. Glad to start one in New England with a Union Colege connection in HC Carmody. Maybe Fran and Willard can come back to do the ceremonial opening tip?
