We have never been back to the Fran days. This is a good team, not a great team.

This place has wild emotions on wins and losses. When the team wins a few in a row its "we're back to the Fran days" and after a couple of losses its doom and gloom and the coach is doing something wrong. Let the season play out and enjoy the team win or lose. That's what fans do. They also help circulate the air and cool you off when its hot out. They're very versatile. lol. It reminded me of the M&M commercial where the one M&M I thanking a circulating fan, and the other M&M says not those fans.

I don't think he meant literally back to Fran's days but fans being excited versus complaining (when we win a few in a row we're all like the world and Siena is great, win the MAAC, play in NCAA tourney game, etc. but when we lose a single game let alone two in a row it's the wheels are falling off, fire the coach, start recruiting better players, this or that player sucks, etc.). I don't care for Papi's posts but I agree with him on this one. There's a lot of extremes and we get from hot to cold (in comments) with each win/loss. That's what passionate fans do, Papi's doesn't get that part and I'm still learning.

To be honest, I thought that my jokes have been horrible today...but I'll take the likes.

We all know our feelings don't have any barring on either Siena basketball results or the market, but whats the fun without worrying/celebrating the daily results?? lol

I do agree with th24 on this one. Don't fault quis for trying but if there is any chance the hand is impacting his performance he should sit until fully healed. Hopefully soon. During one of the first time outs Quis ripped off whatever covering was on his hand and threw it at a manager or trainer.

To be clear he did not throw it with intent to hit anyone, he threw it out if frustration that it was bothering him. Trust me he is not that kind of a kid.

We have never been back to the Fran days. This is a good team, not a great team. Agreed. That's why I don't get some overreactions over some games. Hopefully we'll enter the MAAC tournament with 20 wins something most would have signed for in November. I am hopeful next year with a senior dominated team with a budding sophomore class that we could have a special team next year that avoids some of the hiccups that we have seen this year.

With Kadeem and WB back, thats two veterans, all we need to bring in, for next year, is one more proven perimeter scorer. Olivers 3-pt shooting will be missed. Hopefully Kinnon (who i thought was one of the few bright spots yesterday)can ease that loss next year.

The team might have to talk to Wright eventually about having limited minutes! #TeamFirst Great idea- actually why play him at all- lets let him sit on the bench, get a lot of rest and get limited game action so he's ready to play 3 games in 3 days because if we don't beat Quinnipiac on Sunday then the world as we know it may end. This guy carried the team for the first half of the year, was considered one of the best players in the league and we're talking about him like he's a cancer and a drag on the team. Unbelievable! If you believe we will win this thing with limited contributions from Marquis, you are sadly mistaken.

We are hoping that Wright plays like he did before he got hurt! But IF he playing hurt or his shot is not there! Limited minutes is the only answer!

Again with several people taking other posters comments in the absolute worst possible light - ugh... I don't think anyone suddenly thinks MW is a cancer or bad player. Did I miss somebody actually post such comments? Or have people said things like: Didn't like his comment 'my team needs to learn to play with me again' (Clearly a poor choice of words - does anyone disagree?) Staff rushed him back (I mean who can argue that he SHOULD have played more than 25mins his FIRST game back?) Offense has become more stagnant since he's been back leading to more forced and wild shots (does anyone disagree?) Nico seems to have lost his swagger we need him to play like he did when MW was out (again does anyone disagree?)
Another comment that bear revisiting: Kinnon should have been given more time on the floor earlier this year to get comfortable and the green light for open shots (does anyone disagree?)
A couple of my own: Brett struggles with athletic bigs and the Timbukto kid fits the bill. (does anyone disagree?) BB will be fine. LL tons of talent but now officially fits the Neal Curry mold = A complete and total enigma. MW will be fine and very very good again he just needs another 6 months for a true full recovery.
Now please tell me what is wrong with any of these comments. If fans don't discuss in depth what is happening with their team are they really fans or casual observers?
