If Wright is back for the next game at the TUC does that mean it's guaranteed W?

He will be a season ticket holder next season. Probably another empty seat that's paid for.

Someone like MTS predicts success all the time and eventually gets to claim hes right. It was going to take a lot of pieces to fall into place for real success... AND if you allowed any of these guys to alter their picks the day that Wright went down ... you wouldve seen a LOT of changes. For some... throwing picks out there is fun year after year... for me i prefer to predict when I AM DAMN near certain of what I expect to happen. Otherwise its slinging crap against the wall. This particular win is an eye-opener.

Is there something wrong with being a season ticket holder?

Is there something wrong with being a season ticket holder? No nothing at all. It's just better when the team wins.

Can't agree-- look at prediction game and you'll see many got the season right..season was going as most predicted right up to Wright getting injured-- main reason why Saints kept chugging on--was emergence of Nico-- that part could not be predicted-- winning 20 games and top 4 finish was no brainer for most knowledgable fans..Now we have prospect of Quis and Nico.. great prospect for Siena fans-- not so much for rest of MAAC

That was derailed last year with Brett and Imoh being out (obviously Imoh not a factor this year - a little of a head-scratcher to me). But we see that Brett's loss was huge. Many expected the team to go back to that success with the juniors progressing even more. So to say a lot of pieces had to fall into place, obviously that is correct, but those pieces were in place, they just had to sow themselves as a group. I don't think many expected this much out of Nico, but we thought he would be good. So, we are certainly doing better than expected with Marquis being out, but I agree, the pieces were there for overall success and that was showing itself before he went down.

Should we go back and point out what their predictions were the prior 4 or 5 years?

This team wouldn't be nearly as good without Clareth. As much as he brings on Offense...And that is something no-one outside of Wright brings...he is perhaps the best defender on the team. Had he not performed as he has...with or without Wright Siena doesn't have nearly as many wins.

Lot of important cogs: JO - has emerged as one of the best bigs in the MAAC, without him I'm afraid it's a different yr. Brett - major glue guy, does everything well. We all saw what direction the season took last yr when he went down. Wright - upped his game this year and became a scorer and improved his perimeter shooting. His loss was overcome with the emergence of Nico. Nico - is quickly showing why he is going to be one of the best players in the MAAC. Very important overcoming the loss of Wright. In fact I might go as far as saying having Wright out quickened Nico's development. I think he got more game time sooner and stepped up nicely.

He is playing awesome - on both sides of the court. ROY and 6th Player of the Year levels awesome. Not sure what you mean by 'brings on Offense', but JO and Brett are doing pretty good there- both in top 13 in scoring for the league. That is 'bringing' it in my book. But one of the strengths of this team is that they play extremely well as a team.

"TEAM" is the word here. These guys are good together, period. If one more piece were missing after Wright went down this could be a mess.
