Marist played hard and wanted it more. Not going to blame Patsos. We just looked past them ... Played awful D.
Long is starting to bother me looks like the kid doesnt want to play. Other than Nico no bench play .... Keep recruiting. Need more talent. IMHO we have more than one D2 caliber type player coming off the bench.

Why is it the coaches fault that the team plays like crap? . hey if the coach has no impact I'll do it for free and save the school 500k. Move back to arc and ticket prices can be $200 cheaper. Didn't say that. But you want to blame the coach for the crap play today then you have to give him tons of credit for winning without the teams best player.

No random thoughts today - have to make some apps for that other game happening today.
To me, game was lost in the first ten minutes; Marist was abhorrent, but Siena never capitalized and let them hang around. they had opportunities in the final few minutes, but for the entire second half just had the feel that they were dropping this one. I guess the Nick Cunningham appearance is the new "you guys aren't trying hard enough" late game substitution.
Not all is lost - on paper having a 9 PM Friday game and an away Noon Sunday game is tough, regardless of opponent.

The players laid the egg. This is your classic overconfident game. You'll probably see it on the season at some point that the coaches were yelling at the players to take the game seriously.

Why is it always about the coach though? Players should be held accountable. Three guys showed up today. Three. And that's being kind. Really only Nico brought his best game today.

I agree with the Long assessment, not being a morning person is no excuse, none at all. Come on Lavon, these guys need you in the game.

It is about team management, and game management. Andy is saying the same thing right now.

Losing one game in February and blaming the coach is illogical. Rate the coach on the entire season. Which has been a success. Also congrats that you have a terrible color analyst agreeing with you.

This game solidifies the DESPERATE NEED for an older SF that can push/start for us next year. Lavon has no competition, and needs some immediately.
He looks like he doesn't care about the game. It's hard to watch non-competitive kids get major minutes.

You want to blame 18 year old players go right ahead. I am offering an alternative position to take the heat off of them and where it belongs. The coach should be able to handle this criticism better than the players. Team needs to regroup quick as the road to a 3 seed is a lot tougher now.

But, when a team loses to a team with one conference win it's because the players looked past the other team. They're 18 not 6. You can blame them.

Most of us love the kid but how he can play one game to the next is almost unbelievable. No level of consistency. No rhyme or reason to explain how he is so high one game and play so poorly the next. This was a game he should have feasted on the other team. I guess we have to remember that they're kids. A real tough one to swallow.

Only the coach haters blame JP for this. He tells them all the stuff they need to hear. Whether they execute it or not is on them.
Hopefully this game does shine the light on having to bury kids that don't give a shit. He can be blamed for playing Gottfired at all, and even one more minute this season.
