I definitely agree with KK-- as a duo they are very very good, they compliment each others weakness well. As for JO being better 2017/18 he might be- but it might not be for Jimmy Patsos. Many many fans are on fence with Jimmy, any more talk about needing more talent ( after he signed a walk on) is out the window. Matter of fact don't want to hear any excuses this year. I'm sure he feels comfortable with players like Paige and Cam doing battle with the Iona and Manhattan's/ Quinny's etc otherwise he wouldn't have signed them I would agree Jimmy needs to win now. You can't worry about 2017-2018. We need JO this year and obviously Jimmy feels that way too. The fans are losing patience it's been 5 years since we won the MAAC championship and at the very least we need to be in contention this year. If JO is playing I really like our chances of being in the mix for the title. Without him it is still possible but a lot tougher.

I heard Paige had a great summer...... Hope he has a great season- but fact of the matter is Patsos was playing Paige at power forward last year - not too much call for 6'4" power forwards in MAAC - unless he can play the 3 at Siena, he wont play much at all And I'm sure Paige did have a great summer- he looks to have high basketball IQ, a hard worker but if he cant play the 3 it will all be for naught - I hope he turns into valuable player at Siena

That dominance will end after English, Williams and Amayo's eligibility expire in May.

However, the way they reload...I wouldn't count them out until their roster is final next Sept.

Give me a 2/3 seed at the TUC and I'll take my chances with them on Monday night should we get there. Iona folds like a cheap suit when the money is on the line under Cluess (one reason he is still at Iona). Heck Siena nearly eliminated the Gals as an 8 seed last March.

No question they will be the 1 seed - only question is who will beat them in the MAAC tournament this year. Some other team needs to become a well-rounded team. I see a lot of one dimensional teams offensive/guard oriented teams. Siena could throw a kink in their plans if the defense rocks and Nico proves a star. Most teams like CC, Rider, Monmouth, and Manhattan are missing at least one major aspect...mostly interior toughness. Or in FF's case ...a PG. Barring a fluke or one or more of those teams correcting some weaknesses, it's tough to see Iona out of the NCAAs this year. Iona's nightmare scenario is probably Siena being the #2 seed at home but, as we know, there's a lot of work to get to that point. Fouls, regaining the defense and rebounding, new wings, 3 pt shooting etc.. Iona fans seem high on Monmouth but I feel they are greatly selling short the loss of Kofane to a team that had already milked their 7th best point differential to the maximum.

Get back to me when Jimmy Paige can get up like Schroeder could Plus with Brett, Lavon , WB, and Fisher-- barring crazy injuries Paige aint getting much time at 4-- if he cant play 3 he isn't playing much for Siena - at 3 he only has to beat out Lavon, Oliver, Nico and Kenny and maybe Kinnon and of course throw Smithin into mix next year

Get back to me when Jimmy Paige can get up like Schroeder could Schroeder was a big jumper? How many dunks did he have at Siena? He was a 6'3" PF that was going to a D-3 school until Mike Browns father tipped Deane off on the kid. My point is height is vastly overrated if you can play. I'll guarantee the minute you heard the Schroeder kid was going to play the PF spot, you flipped! lol

Bruce had a ton of dunks.. he was master of one handed tomahawk dunk.. you should really quit on this one while your behind ..Bruce was one of the most athletic white guys we ever had at Siena, strong as bull and if they kept tracks of dunks would be in top 10 all time for dunks at Siena plus Bruce was a 3 Schroeder played most of his time at 3 ( he was starting 3 not 4) he played along side Lee Matthews, Grazules , Andy SHorkey, Matt Grass and the world famous Dave Foster Siena first year in MAAC both Downey and Grazules got hurt forcing Bruce to play some time at 4( BTW Siena finished 15-13 that year-- other than that Bruce was almost exclusively a 3 at Siena

No but if Kenny and Snithen are good it pushes Oliver, Larose and Nico more to the 3
