I renewed. I thought about not but decided to give it another shot. I really hope to see some improvement.

There's no way I'm renewing. It turns out you have to be a season ticket holder to do that. What a damn bureaucracy.

I renewed. I have cautious optimism for a competitive season.

Who else renewed their tickets for this season? Who are actually not renewing, definitely? I'm not talking about those who are threatening not to; rather those who are definitely not renewing. I'm curious. Already renewed. Never thought about not renewing. Looking forward to a solid, competitive season. Time to get this thing turned around. Me too, never gave it a second thought to not renew. I too am looking for the turnaround (and believe it's coming). I'd like to witness Jimmy finally taking a team to the next level. No pressure Jimmy. You can do it.

I' assuming you live too far away to have season tickets, although Ralph & Dennis (from RI) make many of the home games. I read in hear that some were threatening to not renew, so I geared my comment towards current season ticket holders. Anyone besides Siena1971 getting season tickets for the first time?

I'm curious. I am definitely out. As is gaskan and bryk. No sense throwing good money after bad. They have already left the board. Some of you threaten to leave over negativity...They left because some of you will support the product no matter how far they drive it into the shitter. I understand both opinions although I look at Siena basketball more as a business and most likely because I'm a Union alumnus rather than Siena. Those who are graduates of Siena are going to turn over every rock looking for reasons to support something that they are permanently attached to (pride factor). Those not so permanently connected will find themselves questioning their support of the program far sooner...And thus more apt to retract financial support.

I'm still smarting from last time I got season tickets and they gave me section 227 row P, basically the worst seats in the entire arena. Once they start selling out again and I am at risk of not being able to get tickets for a game then I will get season tickets again. Until then, $5 tickets here I come.

I'm curious. They left because some of you will support the product no matter how far they drive it into the shitter. Thats what REAL fans do. They support the program thru the good times and the bad times. Sure it would be nice to win every year, but guess what, that doesn't happen at the mid-major level. EVERY program goes thru dips. EVERY one of them. Iona won 2 games 8 years ago!!! 2! Now they have a good recruiter/coach that is allowed to bring in whoever he wants, so big schools wont touch him despite his tainted succcess. They seem to be good for awhile. Manhatttan fired their coach in 2010! After a 52-70 4-year run. These are the two staple programs in the conference (besides us). IT HAPPENS PEOPLE. The Mitch hiring wasn't bad for 3 years, its bad for 5-6 years. 3 actual, and the 2-3 to clean up the mess. Jimmy cleaned it up very well. Fran took over a 6 win program and won 15 games his first year. Jimmy took over a 8 win program, and won 20, and all I ever hear about is how "unreal" Frans first year of coaching was. Last year, everything that could go wrong, did. Bisping and Silas gone. Cole a bad seed they were counting on heavily, and the "star" player at 70% all year with a bad ankle. Excuses, or facts? The "real" fan will support the team when it needs it most. The front runners will be back when it's fashionable again.

There is nothing wrong with Saintsfan's stance or that of any non-alum fan. Fact is, many people's association with the school is directly linked to the basketball team's success.
Once that wanes, there's not enough for people keep identifying themselves with the school. There is nothing wrong with that.
Some, like me, are stuck with Siena. Others, don't have to be. If I was a non-alum season ticket holder, I'd be pretty upset at this point too. You can't blame them.

Both coaches won about 53/54 % year one but after 2 seasons Fran was 35 - 25, Patsos 31 - 38. It was very clear after year 2 which direction Fran's team was heading. It's not so clear under Patsos.
Big year for Jimmy. Upswing or Captain 500 or worse . ... Stay tuned!

I renewed for my 30th year as season ticketholder. It's year by year now for me. The 2nd half of last season was so bad--no evidence of coaching going on--I did give some thought to giving up the season tickets and being selective of the games I want to see. If Jimmy does turn things around this year--as we all hope--I'll be leading the cheers.

But by the same token if Cubs fans had that belief. There'd be no one at Cubs home games. Think about the empty Redskx stadiums for what 80 years, so no I guess if you're a real fan like HJ & I think, you continue to support your favorite teams. I realize that purchasing season tickets is only one way to show support but the players really enjoy that support come game day.
